izzetafox? Posted 11 April 2008 Posted 11 April 2008 I think a wins on the cards, my son's not going A win... but wont be pretty!, i am confident as my boyfriend and his mate are not going and last time they missed games we beat Cov, Norwich!
Dr The Singh Posted 11 April 2008 Posted 11 April 2008 A reckon we will either win 1-0 or win 4-3 It's like going to a public urinal where you have to line up with other men to go for a piss......you just can't guarentee whether the task will be complete, nerves and tension may take over and you will leave very frustrated!!!
hairy Posted 11 April 2008 Posted 11 April 2008 A win would ease the pain and having followed City for too long now and know pain is what its mostly about. Lose to go into the last three needing to win all.

It'll be a very annoying draw,as normal we will start brightly and score early doors and then get pegged back and ship a soft goal near the end...same old same old I'm afraid...wonder what excuse will be rolled out by Ollie for failing to beat the basement team?

I really hope there will be no excuses, I hope the game will not be dictated by dubius refereeing decisions, Ollie is the manager he can take the kudos if we win, he must also take the punishment if we lose!!

Highly Unlikely. He'll let the mouth do the talking
Fox in a Box Posted 11 April 2008 Posted 11 April 2008 Fast out the blocks 2-0 up after 25 mins game over.
SamL Posted 11 April 2008 Posted 11 April 2008 Anything but a win and we could be in trouble. I'm going for a 2-0 win.
lavrentis Posted 11 April 2008 Posted 11 April 2008 Ollie Ollie Whats The Score?? Im going for a win.
Thracian Posted 11 April 2008 Posted 11 April 2008 It will be a Blackpool (home) or Preston (home) all over again. We can huff and puff all we like but our failings will find us out in the end - especially our lack of pace, our ability to get around the back of defences and to get bodies forward into the box. It is so hard for us to hurt people. No-one coming to the Walkers will be full of fear and any videos they watch will only make them confident they have a chance. It is rare to see our team charge out of the blocks and go for the game non-stop. There's no intimidation at all unless it comes from the fans and they tend to be far better away than at home. I live in hope of course, like everyone else, but we've gone through the stage where we could have easily helped ourselves and not got into this mess. We've made and seen the results of too many bad decisions and attitudes. We're desperately vulnerable now and for this game in particular because, while there's this air that we will win and should win, the reality is that we are under severe pressure and the opposition will know this. A draw or defeat is more than possible especially as Colchester seem to been pretty good at scoring and will have nothing to hold them back. It is horrible to feel like this. I wish I felt differently. Truth is I have no faith in City's management whatsover.
Fat Ron Posted 11 April 2008 Posted 11 April 2008 Unless he plays Kisnorbo up front we will lose 1-0 Kissa is the new Walsh

Fat Ron Posted 11 April 2008 Posted 11 April 2008 You wanna play red cards then do you Lee Hendrie it is upfront then. I'd actually be happy with that
Koke Posted 11 April 2008 Posted 11 April 2008 Those who voted for a loss are a bunch of pessimistic barstewards.
Daggers Posted 11 April 2008 Posted 11 April 2008 If people are convinced we are going to lose and that they have no faith in the management then I'd be very surprised if they bothered to go to the match.
Thracian Posted 11 April 2008 Posted 11 April 2008 If people are convinced we are going to lose and that they have no faith in the management then I'd be very surprised if they bothered to go to the match. People bet on long shots every week without ever seriously believing they're going to win. And, if having faith in the manager was a pre-requisite for supporting City then our attendance has held up remarkably well during the Levein, Kelly and Holloway eras? On numerous occasions I've gone to games in spite of the manager - and some of the players - not because of them. I shall be there Saturday too, all being well. Barbers serves as an antidote to many things...
