Hullfox Posted 30 May 2008 Posted 30 May 2008 No it won't.The dancing dog's a nailed-on cert to win it. You read it here first. Now you can go out and do something positive on Saturday night. Dancing dogs........Saturday night...............Ultra............. Wouldn't be a first.
WetFlannel Posted 30 May 2008 Posted 30 May 2008 Full of singers. Basically another X-Factor, and how Jeremy Lynch didn't get through still amazes me.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 31 May 2008 Posted 31 May 2008 Full of singers. Basically another X-Factor, and how Jeremy Lynch didn't get through still amazes me. Because he didn't have a sob story?

YES how could a ball juggler (who only dropped the ball twice) not get through ; its a national disgrace as soon as i saw "Scala" ( now called Escala due to EMI threats of legal action for using the name )in the early stages they looked like the ones to beat ; its really a 2 horse race between them and Faryl Smith i got early odds of 8 to 1 for Escala , and i think i could be collecting

It's a complete stitch up though. They look like a professional setup already tbh and are using the show to finally get the breakthrough/big money behind them that they need. This is what annoys me about these shows. You get people who genuinely are picked up 'out of the blue' who deserve to be there and then you get people who use these shows to further publicise their 'talents'.
Noel Edmonds Posted 31 May 2008 Posted 31 May 2008 It's got to be young George Sampson to win. Escala would get it though, well, two of them would. The Blondes.
JoeyB Posted 31 May 2008 Posted 31 May 2008 It's got to be young George Sampson to win.Escala would get it though, well, two of them would. The Blondes. Siganture, or the Karate Kids for me
Zingari Posted 31 May 2008 Author Posted 31 May 2008 Siganture, or the Karate Kids for me they have both got a good chance ; i just find it amazing that there is so much untapped talent on the street of britain , doing the sort of acts that most of us just don't get to see BGT has been a breath of fresh air and i really hope that TV finds more time for "variety" acts

Zingari Posted 31 May 2008 Author Posted 31 May 2008 Yet it's always the same line up of singers every year? signature escala strike nemisis katy and gin cheeky monkeys george none of these are singers and andrew and faryl are extremely talented young singers Edit; i thought earlier that it was a 2 horse race but i no longer believe this ; its wide open between about 5 acts
Tommeh Posted 31 May 2008 Posted 31 May 2008 It'll be out of George, Signature or the 12 year old girl, who someone declared "I would" on earlier on in the thread, discusting.
Mr Happy Posted 31 May 2008 Posted 31 May 2008 NOOOOOOOOOShould be signature. utter bollocks george sampson is signature but without the surprise.
WetFlannel Posted 31 May 2008 Posted 31 May 2008 Average dancer. It hardly merits that amount of money. And don't get me started on his 'sympathy story'.
JoeyB Posted 31 May 2008 Posted 31 May 2008 All you need is a sympathy story and you win it. Im going on next year, i have no talent, but support Leicester. I'll win for sure
