foxilescom Posted 26 March 2005 Posted 26 March 2005 Hi, I know that many on here are voting regularly, and one person has even won tickets ! , but why do you think so few people are really voting for city on it ? 1) Dont want to get spam email / text messages from Coke ? I haven't had any at all. 2) Dont want to fall for their advertising ? Go with it, we can benefit both personaly and as a club. 3) Cant be bothered to vote ? ? 4) Dont know about the campaign ?. I think its been quite well advertised. 5) Is the Club and the Mercury doing enough to promote it ? Maybe dont want to advertise Coke ? On a bad day, we get 20,000 for a home match, in total, we have under 4,000 votes on this in what , 2 weeks or so ?. Comments ? Keith H www.foxiles.com
step Posted 26 March 2005 Posted 26 March 2005 I have tried to vote and it dont work, and spent some time trying to bet it working, but to no avail
Guest Posted 26 March 2005 Posted 26 March 2005 I think Coca-Cola are making more out of this than the £350k they'll be giving away.
Anish Posted 26 March 2005 Posted 26 March 2005 Can't be arsed to vote if I'm honest. Doubt we'll win anything from it anyway.
CasinoGee Posted 26 March 2005 Posted 26 March 2005 So you're not prepared to enter into a free competion with the possibilty of winning yourself 10k?
Mark Posted 26 March 2005 Posted 26 March 2005 Because we haven't got a chance of winning, Leeds are on 40,000 and theres no chance we will catch them or QPR. I'm bored of reading about it as well now. There my 1 vote anyway
Foxes_Trust Posted 26 March 2005 Posted 26 March 2005 Anish & Cat Burger - what a pathetic reason - don't you want to increase the odds of a City fan winning? - wouldn't you like to be personally responsible (for a minute or so effort per day) for a 250k signing being on the pitch for us next year? I'm on dial up it takes no more than 2 minutes to vote You complete - name. e-mail address, mobile number You select your age range from a drop down box First time you vote you select your team from a drop down box, after that the site remembers your ISP & lists your team You then key in the 6 digit security code number displayed It took me longer to type this then enter on the site

It's not harming you is it.

I'm bored of reading about it as well now. There my 1 vote anyway 83438 IT'S NOT ABOUT HOW MANY ENTRANTS A TEAM RECIEVES!!!!!!! FFS. It just helps if more people who support your team enter, then you have a better chance of winning. A team with one entry could still win!

CasinoGee Posted 26 March 2005 Posted 26 March 2005 It's called a competion. People enter and then a winner is drawn at random
Scarby Posted 27 March 2005 Posted 27 March 2005 It's called a competion. People enter and then a winner is drawn at random 83567 but surely the winner is the one with the most votes
Wellman Posted 27 March 2005 Posted 27 March 2005 It's called a competion. People enter and then a winner is drawn at random 83567 but surely the winner is the one with the most votes 83584 Sorry Chirs!!! They chose someone at random from everyone who has entered, it's not the team with the most votes that win, the team with the most votes have more of a chance of winning the player!
Wellman Posted 27 March 2005 Posted 27 March 2005 We're catching Bradford but Reading are right behind us!! VOTE VOTE VOTE!!
CasinoGee Posted 27 March 2005 Posted 27 March 2005 Thanks for setting her straight Wellman, some people eh? It's just like any other copetition scarborough fox, on person is drawn at random. IT'S ENTERING, NOT VOTING! Why does everyone seem to think that it's voting? It's doesn't say anything about voting on www.coca-colafootball.co.uk !
Ash Posted 27 March 2005 Posted 27 March 2005 I vote when ever i get the chance... We may not be able to catch Leeds but whats the harm in trying?
CasinoGee Posted 27 March 2005 Posted 27 March 2005 Newcastle Fox, you ENTERED today. You didn't vote.
