MADLEVEIN Posted 28 March 2005 Posted 28 March 2005 Manager Craig Levein believes that Leicester supporters have a significant role to play during their nine remaining games. The Foxes currently lie just three points above the Coca-Cola Championship relegation zone, but they two games in hand on most of their rivals and six of their remaining games are at home. Levein is demanding that Leicester fans back their team and help the inconsistent Foxes finish as high in the Championship as possible. He said: "We have two very important games coming up against Millwall and Wolves, which are both at home. "What is important is we get everyone behind us. We don't seem to have had many decent decisions in our favour from officials in recent weeks and I am putting that down to the fact that we have been away from home so much. "I am hopeful that our supporters can get behind us and at the Walkers Stadium that will change," he told the club's official website. (teamtalk)
Durnerz Posted 28 March 2005 Posted 28 March 2005 Too right, we need someone to whip the crowd up beforehand, birch?
C-man Posted 28 March 2005 Posted 28 March 2005 yeah, thats a good idea, im sure the crowd would respond and get behind the team better if Birch got the crowd wound up before the game. Someone should suggest that idea to the club
Ash Posted 28 March 2005 Posted 28 March 2005 Birch always gets the fans up for it, Get him on before Kick-Off to rally up the troops ! COME ON LEICESTER !
Jonbluefox9 Posted 28 March 2005 Posted 28 March 2005 Me and my mate (jordo11 ) were talking about getting a double act together on the pitch before games. Birch and Bernie! Imagine Bernie on the microphone? "Get into 'em!!! Donald Duck 'em up!!!" He'd probably get banned for swearing but he'd start singing and shouting random things to get the fans laughing and up for it.
Isopen Posted 28 March 2005 Posted 28 March 2005 Definition of a perfect weekend We slaughter Millwall (like last time at home in Div 1) So we are 3 points & several goals better off Wise gets sacked without breaking somebody's jaw first

Wellman Posted 28 March 2005 Posted 28 March 2005 The thing that winds me up before a game is Henry 84360[/snapback] Doesn't it all!!! I keep saying we need to put him down

Louise Posted 28 March 2005 Posted 28 March 2005 One real atmosphere-killer before the game is the music they blast at us, I think. If you remember the Forest game, the KOP had started chanting before the game only to be drowned out by Robbie Williams or something. That kills the chanting off before the game and means it harder to get it started later on...imo

Grrr

I totally agree with Louise and Sam, music should be contained to before the game (until a pre-recorded post horn gallop comes on and when the chanting begins) at half time (until the Birch comes on) and after the game with many interuptions for final scores! It aint rocket science LCFC!!!
step Posted 29 March 2005 Posted 29 March 2005 What pizzes me of is not so much the music, its the type of music. Drab & depressing music that is never going to help, get fans going. We need music to lift us, not something that you'd expect at a funeral.
Jonbluefox9 Posted 29 March 2005 Posted 29 March 2005 I'd like them to play some Leicester related songs before kick off. 'This is the season for Leicester' would be a good one if they played it at a good pace even if it's not very suitable this season.
MADLEVEIN Posted 29 March 2005 Author Posted 29 March 2005 great idea about the birch on before kick-off defo would get the fans going....but not in a delia knd of way.
