Ash Posted 19 July 2004 Posted 19 July 2004 any good ? as he been signed from somewhere or is he a youth teamer Youth midfielder, but he's one of the best youngsters at the club, extremely talented. At 16 last season he played for the reserves and scored. He is a good player , but id profer to give Stearman the chance , he looks very good
City Fan Posted 20 July 2004 Posted 20 July 2004 I think Keown is the best signing just because he will be outstanding next season, and he will make Heath, Stearman, Tozer etc. better players, and they will gain from the experience of having Keown on the training ground. Dublin is also a good signing because he will score goals next season and can also cover for the defence.
Mark Posted 20 July 2004 Author Posted 20 July 2004 Forget Lewis Tozer I dont even think he's here anymore, last i heard he was on loan at Halifax Town.

ForeverBlue Posted 21 July 2004 Posted 21 July 2004 Lovin the new forum!! I have got to go for Connolly!!
Scow Posted 21 July 2004 Posted 21 July 2004 Cheers both I think Connolly may get a few more votes now with his late addition to the poll.
Guest Daniel Posted 22 July 2004 Posted 22 July 2004 I had to go for Williams, i think hes a great signing, about the best Micky Mouse has made for the club, Dublin could be good aswel.

Joe_Fox Posted 23 July 2004 Posted 23 July 2004 I'm surprised Dion Dublin is winning this poll. I hope he can fire us 20 goals or so.
Cobbo Posted 23 July 2004 Posted 23 July 2004 I'm surprised Dion Dublin is winning this poll. I hope he can fire us 20 goals or so. twas started before Keown or Connolly had signed....otherwise I'd have voted for big Dave!
Guest Daniel Posted 23 July 2004 Posted 23 July 2004 I wouldnt, i would of opted for being Martin. ::
TrickyTrev Posted 27 July 2004 Posted 27 July 2004 Would still go for Dion, goal scorer at this level, local lad and a real leader on the pitch. He'll be a fans favorite by the end of the season. Probably stay one for a season before getting a coaching role.
alex Posted 29 July 2004 Posted 29 July 2004 Man City fans rate him - But I agree with Petrescu to a certain extent - He's very rash.....But Maybe we need that tenaciousness in the team...But not at the expense of ten men though... He is but also gifted, I remember watching a goal he got at Anfield, from deep his own half he ran the scouse before burying it past ... ummm, Westerveld i think... \Also he was Man City's only player when I went to maine Road and we won 1-0, i think he will be good, but Connelly is our best signing IMO, by far...having said that I think Dublin will probably be more effective this coming year.
Pele Posted 4 August 2004 Posted 4 August 2004 Its got to be williams hes young and hes a bit of an izzet player i think he good replace meant for izzet
Highland Posted 4 August 2004 Posted 4 August 2004 Value for money wise it's got to be Lardy Pressman, not only a second string keeper but he's polished off those 'out of date' pies we had left over as well as those pickled gherkins that were nearing there 'best before'.The problem could be injuries, pulling a muscle in the players lounge post match while over-reaching for that last cheese sarnie.
