Nod.E Posted 9 May 2008 Posted 9 May 2008 Did anybody else go last night? If not, you've missed out. It was Absolutely electric.
Nod.E Posted 9 May 2008 Author Posted 9 May 2008 Rubbish...more pop rock....yawn! I'm sure you would've enjoyed yourself though, to be honest. Even if you do brand it as 'more pop rock' either way there was a room full of jumping around to a good beat, have a good time. Can you go wrong, really? The thing about The Wombats is that 99.9% of their songs have a fast beat or rythm that for me, is hard not to jump to.

Messi Posted 9 May 2008 Posted 9 May 2008 'Little Miss Pipedream'It's a slower one. Anyway, you prune you like them! Only because that is all you have on your ipod
Nod.E Posted 9 May 2008 Author Posted 9 May 2008 Only because that is all you have on your ipod Don't insult my music player like that. Anyway, I'll have you know I have 278 songs. 20 of them being The Wombats' music! You weren't complaining when I kindly lent you it in ICT the other day, anyway!

But its what you like that counts!
andyh1884 Posted 9 May 2008 Posted 9 May 2008 Saw them supporting The Enemy in October, didn't really know any of the songs apart from the singles, which are very catchy. They were decent enough, would've enjoyed it more if I'd known a few more of the set the played. I've since bought the album & have to say it's pretty good, other than the opening track which is pointless nonsense.
Joe. Posted 10 May 2008 Posted 10 May 2008 Yeah well I saw them last August at the Charlotte before they were all mainstream. Yeahhh To be fair they're quality live.
