Number 6 Posted 12 May 2008 Posted 12 May 2008 Saw this a while back and thought it was awesome, tried to see him live but couldn't find a date that suited me. Enjoy (maybe)... Rhod Gilbert There are 3 parts to it, but they can be found on the youtube website easily enough.
purpleronnie Posted 12 May 2008 Posted 12 May 2008 Pretty funny. Anyone heard of David O'Doherty - he was on the russel brand show. Here's a clip I think its definately laugh out loud funny;- David O'Doherty
Finnegan Posted 12 May 2008 Posted 12 May 2008 This is one of my favourite pieces of stand up (and I watch a lot!) It's not purely, entirely because he's Welsh, he just is that funny. Watch the "Luggage Problems" skit as well, very funny. I did a stand-up thread a while back but it went down like a stone. "I was eight before I realized you could take a kagool off!"

I've seen it, it's genius! "Either you're a sheep, playing a risky game. Or an Englishman, which is in some ways a much more risky game".
Finnegan Posted 13 May 2008 Posted 13 May 2008 The best bit is in the second or third part or whatever, talking about sex shops and the girl coming up to ask "Can I help you?" - "I panicked, I said, 'no it'll go down on it's own in a minute'"
Finnegan Posted 13 May 2008 Posted 13 May 2008 I think the funnier thing is he spells Rod, Rhod ... You're treading a fine, fine line. [His name's Rhodri, a very old Welsh name... that probably pre-dates Rodney.]
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 14 May 2008 Posted 14 May 2008 ... You're treading a fine, fine line. [His name's Rhodri, a very old Welsh name... that probably pre-dates Rodney.] Sorry Finners but its still funny i never seen it spelt like that.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 21 May 2008 Posted 21 May 2008 "I've got friends back home who can pass for scampi" Very funny, thanks for that, never seen him before. As for funny Welsh guys...
