listen chaps!

been reading posts this pm and to be honest i think its time to move on.

I really hate the fact that we got relegated, but we have

When we went down from the prem to the championship after that stoopid twart barsteward Taylor blew the bank on the likes of panicbuyi, we ended up bouncing straight back to the prem, and then down again (then we went bust etc etc etc.)

But this time i think we will bounceback, with players that should be able to cut it in the championship, and then with the team spirit to survive in the prem.

See us as a pheonix rising from the ashes, to blast aside league 1 opposition, and then win promotion as champions two years running straight to the prem! Believe!

If I'd have said this time last year that we would be a leauge 1 side in 2008/09 you would have reacted with the same incredulity and yet here we are.

So chin up, and as someone else already said - lets look forward to winning some games!

As we don't know:

Who will own the club!

Who will be the Chairman!

Who will be the Manager!

What the squad will be!

How many support staff will still be there!

I fail to see how anyone can have any feelings other than be utterly bemused by the whole situation, yet again LCFC does it's best to be a football farce!

Im strangely looking forward to the new season anyway. Im fairly confident that our squad of players will bounce back.

Which squad of players, you really cannot bank on anyone currently here staying, maybe that's a good thing but then you don't know who you'll get instead.

I'm looking forward to the new season & keep thinking how I can see our squad steamrolling the league if the right 11 are chosen........

.........then I stop, think & realise that most of the players I would put in my 1st 11 will probably leave & that I have no faith in the manager picking the our true best 11 anyway :(

either way, as things stand, I'm still optimistic. No-one has left yet & so I still retain my dream of us challenging for promotion next year & am looking forward to the start of next season already :)

At the end of the day I'm Leicester 'till i die.

LCFC has always been my team and will always be my team. As paying supporters it is our perogative to bitch and whinge but understand this:

The team is ancient, with a long history, LCFC will survive and continue while there are supporters.

Milan Mandaric, Martin O'Neil, Jimmy Bloomfield, Holloway, Taylor, Allen etc will come and go, but LCFC will persist because of supporters like you and I

Not far from now we will pull together a stable and loyal team (including the manager) as we did under MON and we will have better days!

The big difference between now and before is the stadium and the amount of support we are able to attract - at Filbo 21k was the max i think, to be honest i was sceptical of filling the new place, but we do, and now 20k is a poor showing.

Business is business and like it or not football is big business, prices will rise - but then hopefully so will the team

A spell in league 1 might be good for us as it has been for others.

I hate to use an old cliche but

Keep The Faith

Another optimist thread!

Stop telling people how to support the side! It's a bad moment for the club, I think everyone has come to accept where we are now, just waiting for changes to be rung now, then all will hopefully be ok.

I agree with davieG.

Also, I find it annoying that we have yet another thread about being optimistic - thought DiscoBob made an 'official' one?

If most of us don't feel optimistic atm because of the garbage of a season plus yet more uncertainty regarding every aspect of the football club, then that's our choice - we shouldn't have to have endless threads filled with cliches and unrealistic fantasies about how 'it's all going to be alright'.

Looks like Mandaric has his PR team out on the forums again

If the club wanted us to be optimistic...how about announcing who the manager is, starting to sign some decent players, slashing season ticket prices and giving every recognized fan a free fusions dinner with 'afters' with a choice of the female megastore staff.

That would get me up and at it ready for the new season.

Maybe if you learned to read you would see that is not the case.

Move on

Wow, that joke went down well.

Anyway, nice to see your optimism was well received...

At first I thought this thread was called Opometrist. Which is disappointing actually because I clearly need one.
