lildave3 Posted 21 May 2008 Posted 21 May 2008 Bad policing of football fans, yet again.Wankers. If i've read that right, surely it's the Leeds fans fault for charging?
Simi Posted 21 May 2008 Posted 21 May 2008 If i've read that right, surely it's the Leeds fans fault for charging? Ugly scenes erupted at Leeds United after furious fans pleaded "stop treating us like animals".Children were sick, people fainted and others were pulled from the queues to safety as hundreds were kept in a pen before being let out in groups of ten to join the final queue at the ticket office. May of been a result of fans, but that's not the way to solve the situation. It's abysmal.
Dr The Singh Posted 21 May 2008 Posted 21 May 2008 http://www.yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk/news...ited.4106809.jp God i hope they lose. So that's where you've been, you got your ticket yet MF???
Simi Posted 21 May 2008 Posted 21 May 2008 At first, I thought that Martin Keown had been spotted in the que. Thankfully it doesn't seem as bad as first thought.
dandannieldanok Posted 21 May 2008 Posted 21 May 2008 The video didn't reveal much, except for the penning in of the animals
leedslad Posted 21 May 2008 Posted 21 May 2008 Bad policing of football fans, yet again.Wankers. Bad organisation from LUFC. No stewards overnight, no organised fencing/queue system, only 3 ticket windows open at times (6000 in the queue at opening time) and little communication. It's not like they didn't know it was going to happen- we had a debacle for the Millenium stadium last time (lessons not learnt) and people were arriving to queue at 12 noon yesterday. Shaun Harvey (our managing director impersonator), who has already done enough to justify his removal three times over, needs to be sacked. He couldn't organise a piss-up in a brewery. The police were probably inept as usual, but they were at least there and adequately prepared. Also in for a blasting are the part-time wankers who pushed in with the intention of touting tickets. That is where the police went wrong- they didn't do enough to stop it. If they weren't there, the queue would have enforced itself (probably more effectively too). I was lucky as I'm a ST holder, I knew I was getting a ticket and only had to spend two hours down there a few days ago, which was more about choosing good seats than necessity. I could have easily done it over the internet if I had wanted to. Last time, everyone ended up in a shockingly bad system, this time it's just been ST holders and members who wanted extra tickets. So it's been a marginal improvement in that respect, but people have been physically hurt this time and it could have been a lot worse- someone ought to be accountable for that. Have a read of WACCOE (the Leeds board), for some of the horror stories. Anyone on here who thinks these scenes are amusing needs to get a grip.
Daggers Posted 21 May 2008 Posted 21 May 2008 Anyone on here who thinks these scenes are amusing needs to get a grip. Bloody right. There's no laughs to be had at the suffering of a load of BNP-supporting, Dirty Leeds band-wagon jumpers.
leedslad Posted 21 May 2008 Posted 21 May 2008 Bloody right. There's no laughs to be had at the suffering of a load of BNP-supporting, Dirty Leeds band-wagon jumpers. Dirty bolshie!
Daggers Posted 21 May 2008 Posted 21 May 2008 Dirty bolshie! Come the glorious day - only season ticket holders will be spared.
leedslad Posted 21 May 2008 Posted 21 May 2008 Come the glorious day - only season ticket holders will be spared. Sounds alright to me! When's it happening? I'll make a note to be locked inside my house with enough provisions for a month... fook me, you do take your socialism seriously (judging by your avatar/sig). Out of interest are you a student?

Ultra Posted 21 May 2008 Posted 21 May 2008 Bloody right. There's no laughs to be had at the suffering of a load of BNP-supporting, Dirty Leeds band-wagon jumpers. Too right. Because NO true City fan would ever dream of supporting the BNP. Nor would they consider jumping the queue of tickets for a Wembley final, even if they'd gone years without attending a home game. And I'm sure those twin pillars of integrity Milan Mandaric and Paul Aldridge will impeccably organise the allocation of tickets for any final we may reach next season..
Daggers Posted 21 May 2008 Posted 21 May 2008 He's neither left-wing nor a student! It's rather funny how little you know about me.
