Zingari Posted 31 May 2008 Posted 31 May 2008 its all down to the pylons they should try reversing the polarity , or whatever it is that boffins do with electric and stuff
Daggers Posted 31 May 2008 Posted 31 May 2008 The only joke is you.Get a life, money well spent for any team. Edit Were you also singing 'Ollies army' when we were being stuffed last season? I always find it a bit cheap to have a go at other posts.Always read them like a tabloid, may be true who knows, do you know for sure that its bulls crap?
davieG Posted 31 May 2008 Posted 31 May 2008 I'm stuck in a constant state of negativity currently, every new signing last year brought a little bit of hope, and that soon fizzled away.As soon as the club starts giving something back to the fans, in terms of league position and on the field results, then i'm sure we can start to believe again. Last summer, pre-Blackpool game, I had such a good feeling about the season, and to get beat by them at home, took it all away. I don't want the same thing to happen again this season. Fan positivity has to be encouraged from the club side, and at the moment, they haven't done anything to give me some positivity about next season at the moment. I went to that open evening with Mandaric, Allen and some of the players, it was the biggest of all the false dawns. Mandaric and Allen were like the chuckle brothers, everything look like it was on the up, as someone who was not keen on MM's arrival I found most of my fears dissipating that evening, I wasn't particularly down after the Blackpool game as there were a fair number of new player and we didn't actually play that badly certainly not when compared to the rest of the season. Since then it has been virtually all down hill with one monumental cock up after the other - Megson, Holloway, Aldridge, Relegation and now the thought of a serial failure like Gregory joining that list - when will we get some good news, when will MM do something that actually promotes positivity.
Daggers Posted 31 May 2008 Posted 31 May 2008 I was unbearable in the pub before the Blackpool game, I was so filled with hope and belief - I swallowed it all hook, line and sinker. I guess that's why I have such a hard-on for Mandaric now, I feel like a mousy housewife who's husband has done the dirty on her. I'm still cooking in the kitchen but one day soon he may well find some rat poison in his Sunday lunch.

Or you could just be bending over whilst popping the roast potatoes into the oven when you feel the full force of his wrath up the wrong un!
Father Ted Posted 31 May 2008 Posted 31 May 2008 Yeah, also star players that get picked for the England U21's when they're 17.Players that are being watched by Premiership teams. The midfielder that scored 10? goals from midfield last season in a team that was relegated. Full Australia international. Northern Ireland international. Canadian international. So, you think Mauro Zarate is a bad player because he was in the team in which Birmingham was relegated. Yes, the 17-year old that is picked behind a 34-year old. Which players are being watched by Premiership teams apart from Stearman?? The midfielder that scored 10 goals from midfield last season FOR A DIFFERENT TEAM Are Australia any good? See above See above

Yes you are really intellegent blaming milan for everything why cant you people see we went down because our players were not trying, they will move on to other championship clubs and do really well and we will be wondering why they couldnt play for leicester. they were only here for easy money and a last pay cheque. wankers

Who picks the manager, who sets the standard for club - The Chairman! I don't blame him for 'everything' but when a business is failing the bucks stops at the top. You have your view I'll have mine - the difference between us is I wont resort to insulting you with snide comments.

smokey Posted 1 June 2008 Posted 1 June 2008 So you don't think MM is culpable in any way then? I agree, he as to take some of the blame! Employing Martin "im miles out my depth" Allen for starters!
Guest Posted 1 June 2008 Posted 1 June 2008 I agree, he as to take some of the blame!Employing Martin "im miles out my depth" Allen for starters! I just wish he would be more decisive. This has been our problem, if you ask me, nobody has come into this club and come up with a plan and stuck with it, not since MON left. Inconsistency has been our problem, but indecisiveness has been the reason behind it. It's inherent throughout the club these days.
Dom_Harborough Fox Posted 1 June 2008 Posted 1 June 2008 I must admit, the run up to last season was the most optimistic I had been in ages. We had money, a manager (Martin Allen) who, at the time, I thought was exactly the sort of character we needed & several new signings. Rationally, after that all crashed & burned spectacularly, there seems very little reason to be optimistic this year. But I am! After all, when has football ever ben rational?
