Is anybody going? I'm going Saturday, Sunday and possibily Monday depending on the state of the match. England have also announced an unchanged team going into the match which starts on Thursday.

I dont know why people would want to waste their money to be honest.

I thought the same after hearing you were at the egg chase yesterday

That was a class day out mate. Despite the result.

Helped set a new World Record so...

Tom you will even admit that Rugby is better than Cricket.

I was tempted to get a ticket for this a while back, but never end up ordering one. I'll end up watching it on TV so hopefully it's entertaining.

I've never been to a Test Match before because I'm not sure whether I'd be able to sit through a whole days play. It can be very boring at times which is why I prefer the shorter format of the game.

Enjoy it mate, I've only ever been to a England test match once and funnily enough it was against New Zealand at Trent Bridge also back in about 2002 I think. I went on the Sunday and thought it would be really boring but luckily the weather was brilliant and Mark Butcher provided a batting masterclass :cool:lol

I have been to a one Test match in my life time, only went because I got a free ticket. Was in The Ashes and was at Edgebaston when England scored 400 on the first day.

Never again though. Right rip off when it comes to buying food and drink.

I thought the same, but it is brilliant. Honestly

Most sports venues are now though ain't they.

It's all about supply and demand, they'll continue to put the prices up because they know people will still buy it.

At Trent Bridge though, you can nip out to the pub next door.

The pub also has the game on big screen so you don't miss anything..

I wish they'd get rid of that bloody Anderson.

He'll be OK until Flintoff gets fit again..

We've have a decent batting side then, with only Panesar as a genuine rabbit.

Just found out Steve Harmison took a hat-trick today for Durham against Sussex.

Maybe he could get a test recall later in the season..

Simon Jones took 8 wickets in Worcestershires match against Essex so maybe he's in with a shout if he can keep his fitness up.

We might end up starting the next Ashes series with the same pace attack we had in 2005! lol

But that would only happen if Sidebottom got injured. He's been by some distance England's best bowler over the past year.

It'll be hard to dislodge Broad from the team as well. Every test he plays he's learning and getting better, he's been playing quite well lately. He also gives a bit to our batting line up which some bowlers don't.

If Collingwood continues his poor form, I wouldn't be suprised if Flintoff took his place and we had a 5 man bowling attack.

Will Flintoff ever get back to his best?

As a bowler, perhaps. His batting's gone rapidly downhill, though.

That could be due to the fact that he's never really been fit. All he needs is one big score and that'll give him no end of confidence. He just needs to keep working at his batting and he'll soon turn things around.

Whether he can bat or not, I'd still have him in the side providing he's fit and in form.

Very good start for New Zealand at the moment, 65-2 after 18 overs. Both Vaughan and Cook were bowled leaving Strauss and Pietersen at the crease.

From 84-2 to 86-5 >_<

KP is due a century though right?

Yeah he is, lets just hope Ambrose can stay with him for a while.

I've only just turned this back on and I'm shocked.

I think some of our players thought the series was in the bag, but it's obviously not.

If somehow we can get up to 200, we might be able to salvage something from this match.
