Kilworthfox Posted 5 June 2008 Posted 5 June 2008 I was thinking that it would be easier to have a big master list of people who are up for playing football as some are not on here as religiously as others and will miss oppertunities to be involved in games because they have either not seen the topic or have been away from FT for what ever reason. As an example there are 21 names don already for a match and i could put my name down but that would then be 22 and a little OTT for a 11 a side team? Could we not just all put our names in this thread who is interested in any kind of football FT related? if so: I'm in Kilworth
Bert Posted 5 June 2008 Posted 5 June 2008 Or, you could use the Foxestalk FC Forum. You say 22 is too many, so what happens when this brainiac idea plummets to over 30?
Kilworthfox Posted 5 June 2008 Author Posted 5 June 2008 Or, you could use the Foxestalk FC Forum. You say 22 is too many, so what happens when this brainiac idea plummets to over 30? This is not for 1 particular match, this is for all interested in playing any match. 30+ would be fine I am actually expecting double that. My point is that I and others may be missing out because we are not on here as much as more regular users, myslef because I just don't have as much time as I did in the past. However I love playing football and would like to take part in every game if i could. However usually by the time I read a topic it may have been on for a few days and have 21 or more people already on the list. If we had a list of people who wish to be considered then everyone could have a chance of being considered and arangements could be made, possibly a tournament instead of a game if enough people are interested on a particular date? I don't know just a suggestion. The problem is that the way things are done at the moment there are realisticly only so many spaces before it becomes 45 minutes each or less and could get daft as you say 30+???? i am sure there are many on here who wish to play & I think it would be great if everyone could have an oppertunity to, not just on a 1st served basis.
Bert Posted 5 June 2008 Posted 5 June 2008 I'm as much for giving everyone else a chance as you mate, but what happens if we have an 11-a side against other forums or what not? How are you going to sort it then?
Manwell Pablo Posted 5 June 2008 Posted 5 June 2008 If you look at the thread tom people have pulled out of that game left right and centre anyway so get your name down.

Flynny Posted 5 June 2008 Posted 5 June 2008 Perhaps it would be easier if you weren't allowed to sign others up to the games? There was one game where there was about 20 names after only 7 posts... Unless you've phoned them and checked for sure or something, I'd agree with that. There's always going to be this problem of too many. The only way it'll stay down is if match organisers specify the amount of people they want and the above idea is used.
