Never really watch the Premiership so neither. Cant really say anything on the quality of the Premier League when they dont watch it.

Santander have some decent players and on their day their a top side hence why they've done so well this season, their better than the likes of Fulham, Derby, Birmingham, Sunderland, Reading, and Bolton. Who are really who you should be compareing them to in terms of reasources If you want to talk top half v top half then it's teams like Sevilla, Mallorca, Valencia, Espanyol, Real Betis, Deportivo. Some of which have struggled this season but thats only due to how tight the league is. Look how many times their top 4 lost compared to our top 4. If Zaragoza are getting relegated with the players they have then you know it's not a bad league.

Valencia and Betis have struggled because it's forking hard league!!! Your backing my points up by saying that look how many points Champions League Semi finalist Barcelona dropped, probabley near enough the same amount as the three teams English teams in the last four of the Champions league strung together. Your just talking this year and you can't do that, Bolton aren't better than Atheltico but they knocked them out by playing dour football. as has been said UEFA cup was an all Spanish final just a sesason ago. The Italians struggled like crazy in Europe this season but I don't think anyone is going to say that their league isn't one of the three strongest in Europe. The fact that we have the stongest top 4 in Europe hasn't come from just this season alone it's a build up from having all English semi finals a plenty in the past four years and the fact we've had a finalist in every competition since 2005. I'm not saying we don't have an exceptionally strong league we do it's just that in Spain the bottom half espeically, is stronger. Their second division is stronger as well this why massive teams like Celta Vigo and Racing Sociedad and this season Zaragoza are going down and struggling to get back up.
