blue blood Posted 11 June 2008 Author Posted 11 June 2008 Very similar to me(apart from the years).Ellis Avenue (now Abbey) infants school 70-73 Mellor Junior 73-74 Herrick Junior 74-76 Soar Valley college 76-81 Southfields college 81-84 and finally 'The University of Life'. prob pointless asking what teachers u has as the generation gap may be too much although i had mt allem at mellor, mt croft (who was a legend cos he used to give me all his LCFC match programms at soar valley) Herrick rocks, we played footy there everyday till about 2000 when the fenced it up like fort knox .

My science teacher was accused of shagging this girl im my year it was all over the media last year. it all happened in the music room ind in the science cupboad, thats what she says.

The People's Hero Posted 11 June 2008 Posted 11 June 2008 We still have them down here but all I ever hear at work is about the evils of grammar schools etc etc. I have a couple of friends who are headmasters and they both hate the selective system. Having said all that, I bet you don't really care about how popular the secondary education system in Kent is.
