Also he has to watch Menchov and Vande Velde, as they are both dangerous on the last TT. Its great stuff, nobody can tell what is going to happen. Gerrans' win must have been an unexpected bonus for you Aussies. Love how the 2 others thought they had lost him on the mountain, and then he was the strongest in the end. That Euskatel guy must still be swearing, that he didn't lose him on the mountain. Great great win for Gerrans!!

Great great win for Gerrans!! Gerrans did was great he just kept on the back of the 2 all the way up the mountain and then went bang great win. Heard a great interview with his fatrher and also his old coach.

Whats the difference then between cycling athletes and all other athletes? Is it just because theres been many doping scandals in cycling that you don't believe it happens in other sports? I'm just waiting for the day that doping scandals will errupt in football, tennis etc. It's sad that cycling has earned such a tainted reputation as it really is one of the most beautiful sports out there, and the sheer athleticism that these guys show (with or without doping) is astounding.
