Daggers Posted 25 July 2008 Author Posted 25 July 2008 Have to say, I'd go for the map option! I'm still chuckling that Boots is "recognisable by the buses/bus stops"
AoWW Posted 25 July 2008 Posted 25 July 2008 I'm still chuckling that Boots is "recognisable by the buses/bus stops" Hmm, you'd think the wording 'Boots' on the shop front would be more of a clue. Still, it is Northants, anything's possible.
Houdini Logic Posted 25 July 2008 Posted 25 July 2008 You try to do something nice.... It's my own fault - i lived in kettering for a number of years and instantly thought of explaining the route through town. I seemed to overlook the fact that there is a straight road leading to the ground
Sods Posted 25 July 2008 Posted 25 July 2008 Do we have the away end? Is this terracing? Theirs one stand for seating. The rest is terracing. If the suns out, get the sun cream on.
mickydeeeuk Posted 26 July 2008 Posted 26 July 2008 to get to the ground from the station: (direct route) come out of the station and take the first left (shop on the corner) just keep following the road! (have to cross over a few times!) as long as you pass the following you are on the right track: Kettering Cars (on left @ the lights) - Topps tiles (woo hoo!) will be on your right on the other side of the road! keep going youll see B&Q on the right (Morrisons garage on your left) at the round about go straight over (halfords will be on your left) ...till you come to a mini round about the turning to the left is the co-op supermarket (dont turn left here just keep going straight on).... the ground is at the top of the road about 500m ahead. this will bring you to the away end of the ground aswell. that should take bout 15-20 mins. (walk) if when you get there you want a pint (or 8!) turn left (you are now on Rockingham road) from the mini roundabout and about 3/4 of a mile along you will see the beeswing. (should be quite safe in there, beer is really good but quite pricey!) (Avoid the good companions, unless you want a fight!!) hope to see u there... although i will probably be in the stand sitting down. (i want leicester to win, but i also support the poppies!) have agood un!
