Floating Fox Posted 29 September 2008 Posted 29 September 2008 Sorted. I'll wait where you picked me up last time when we played football at Viccy Park? Yeah sorted mate Berty are you with me to this? 3:45 at the bus station?? Any idea where to park?!
Sods Posted 29 September 2008 Posted 29 September 2008 Yeah sorted mate Berty are you with me to this? 3:45 at the bus station?? Any idea where to park?! Hmmm also struggling with this. Is it worth parking at the train station and getting the free shuttle bus. Or just walk the long walk.
Lost4words Posted 29 September 2008 Posted 29 September 2008 yea if i drive that is the question ! Where to park! arghhhh! is train an option? or any spaces in any cars leaving from leicester?
Sods Posted 29 September 2008 Posted 29 September 2008 The more expensive tickets are right behind the goal in the centre of the pitch the cheaper ones are on the flanks near the corner flags, either way you get a good view, many away fans have paid the lower prices and then moved into the more expensive areas that were not sold, although this could be restricted in your case as you will have a lot more fans than the other 3 teams so far. Oh so thats why ive had to pay the most expensive price.
Fosse Boy Posted 29 September 2008 Posted 29 September 2008 So, will people be in The Norfolk? I will have been drinking down here since late morning in Colchester and don't want to find myself alone in doing so!
Floating Fox Posted 29 September 2008 Posted 29 September 2008 Hmmm also struggling with this.Is it worth parking at the train station and getting the free shuttle bus. Or just walk the long walk. I might go for Buff Close...or something. No idea.
Sods Posted 29 September 2008 Posted 29 September 2008 I might go for Buff Close...or something. No idea. Hmmmm, Il be looking for Col U fans to follow. No chance of me paying a tenner.
Floating Fox Posted 29 September 2008 Posted 29 September 2008 Hmmmm, Il be looking for Col U fans to follow. No chance of me paying a tenner. Just found an industrial estate, doubt they'll be parking restrictions on them...Probably 20 minutes to the stadium? No idea, taken me half an hour to actually find out where the fook the stadium is! The industrial estate is just off the A12 A120 junction See you there mate.
lildave3 Posted 30 September 2008 Posted 30 September 2008 Yeah sorted mate Berty are you with me to this? 3:45 at the bus station?? Any idea where to park?! He's got to work according to Joe.
Colchester fan Posted 30 September 2008 Posted 30 September 2008 Hello again folks parking on the industrial estate is restricted in many areas although some companies are opening their car parks for a fiver, please note you can only park for a tenner at the ground if you pre book, you cant just turn up on the night and pay cash. My employer Rapid Electronics is one of the nearest for parking they have around 50 free slots at a fiver a go, its about 15 mins roughly from the stadium and sits facing Axial way that leads onto the stadium road united way. Try the link below to see where they are, you can just turn up and pay on the day. If that is full you can drive half way up Axial way (opposite Rapid) and there is a big engineering company called Flakt Woods, they are also doing parking for a fiver I believe and they are slightly nearer than Rapid but you can get caught up in the traffic more when you leave. http://www.rapidonline.com/companyInformat...ompany/location
General Smuts Posted 30 September 2008 Posted 30 September 2008 Someone needs to hold my hand from the station to the ground.

I can though. Was that you buying a concession from the ticket office by yourself & chatting to the people behind?
Guest Posted 1 October 2008 Posted 1 October 2008 Was that you buying a concession from the ticket office by yourself & chatting to the people behind?I would like to say it was (unless the young lady in question was unattractive), but it wasn't.

OK - it seemed like a hell of a coincidence - last post in this thread I read was yours, then at the game a girl clearly over 18 buys herself a concession.
