Corky Posted 25 August 2008 Posted 25 August 2008 A full-on stadium full of pansies? We're not getting Martin Allen back are we?
Suffolk_fox Posted 25 August 2008 Posted 25 August 2008 I managed to get When You're Smiling in to our 'pre wedding' music... Told the missus why afterwards.....
iancognito Posted 26 August 2008 Posted 26 August 2008 We sing a song called when your smiling Love singing when your smiling, BUT will not do the twattish outstreched arm and finger wiggling it`s the daftest thing I`ve ever seen, makes you look like a bunch of pansies Those two comments just settled it. My glory years of supporting Leicester have been finished by those two comments. The wiggly hand thing is the soul of it, the very essence of the song and what makes it different from everyone else's. Liverpool have YNWA, Man City have Blue Moon, Stoke have Delilah, Forest have That Loving Feeling and we have When You're Smiling. I just wish enough people knew it and sung it loud enough to make it as effective as Delilah or something like that. Sadly, it doesn't have a tune that Jobber can bang his drum to and hasn't been in the charts in the last year so the 10 year olds in K and L won't even try to learn it. I managed to get When You're Smiling in to our 'pre wedding' music... Told the missus why afterwards..... And then my faith was restored.

Obviously you don't sit in and around L or K? Like everyone else who abuses it. When You're Smiling was sung at least three times in L1 on Saturday as it was on the first home game of the season. It's sung ast most aways by a select group as well. Think about it.

If you lot don't know it... Listen to how we sing it and join in when you know the words! I learned it by listening, come on I am a moronic idiot from L1! I would have thought that yous in them seats would have no trouble picking it up
