Bert Posted 4 September 2008 Posted 4 September 2008 I know you were there, like, but thats exactly the opposite. A striker with confidence in themselves would and should have shot from that position. He was doing it all last season and messing up the passes. Every time he was bearing down on goal he'd attempt a pass when he got within 12 yards even if it was to someone in a worse position than him or the pass was risky. Or maybe he realised he was in a team? DJ could have easily shot himself, and from where he was, there was a slim chance of him scoring from there, he realised this, seen Fryatt was unmarked and had pretty much an open goal to shoot at, so simply laid it off for him.

Im sure DJ will come good once he too(like fryatt and Howard) gets abit of confidence and a decent run in the team. he was shite last year but like we've all said before,so too were alot of better players than him. Im sure he'll be as good as the DJ who scored so many for Brum.

A failed, under-confident, 'i thought a line was coke' not when the the assistant referee spots me off side - waste of space
