The People's Hero Posted 19 September 2008 Posted 19 September 2008 stuck down in a rut of dislogic and smut a side of you well hid when it's all said and done it's real and it's been fun but was it all REAL fun? Because sometimes it's ok to listen to Green Day's Dookie album when you're 24. It's like a 10 year anniversary of when I loved it I guess. I just woke up this morning and wanted to listen to it.

The People's Hero Posted 19 September 2008 Author Posted 19 September 2008 Nimrod, however, was the Green Day album of choice.
Flynny Posted 19 September 2008 Posted 19 September 2008 I sang along to Basketcase loudly whilst ridiculously drunk abroad the December just gone. I don't even like the song. In an interesting full circle back to yesterday I only know the words thanks to it featuring in a Weird Al 'Polka'.
Libertine Posted 19 September 2008 Posted 19 September 2008 What an album. Every track is great. I prefer Nimrod myself, but Dookie alwaus has something about it that I love. Personal favourites are Coming Clean, She and Sassafras Roots.

Yeah, Nimrod is the best - but Dookie certainly has it's place.
