The baby squads charge

makes me laugh that a few people are 'boo hoo-ing' about the young lads that ran behind the goal for the penalties.

honestly... there was NO threat the away support what-so-ever!

a couple of YOUNG kids ran quite far across, but the majority stopped behind the goal and didn't venture any further.

they they stood there & sang / waved their arms at the away fans until the penalties began.

some people make it sound like they were pulling knives and frothing at the mouth.

I must add, I wasn't one of the people that ran over, I was sat in the corner with my mate and my girlfriend.

I didn't feel any need to complain about this 'rush'.

In fact, I thought that the fact we had some fans behind the goal was POSITIVE.

I like to make a bit of noise, not to the point where I'm singing 'left side, right side' all game, but fook it...

fair play to those who want to.

Noise from the HOME crowd is NEVER a bad thing.

I can't imagine anything worse than watching the whole match in silence.

stop bloody complaining.

it's a football match in a stadium with lots of people... not a Sunday Mass at Church.

All well and true, and believe me I agree, but we're in a small minority (not on this board, more in general) unfortunately. The H&S people, and many of our fans, would love the ground to be like Mass at Church, where everyone just turns up, takes their seats, occasionally sings a song and possibly claps along to it. The rest of the time they should just be observing. In silence. And they get their wish more often than not.

I do sympathise with people who complain about the whole "left side, right side" song sung continuously for 90 minutes. Especially in only one stand. It gets tedious after a while. Just like "shoes off" and "jump up" if you love Leicester. Fine in small doses, not fine repeatedly.

Agreed.

Needs mixing up a bit, and does look silly if it's being done all game.

Did they offer you sweets? What have your mum and dad told you about talking to strangers? But seriously, kids have to learn how to sing somewhere. Might be nicer if they knew some more original songs and didn't have REALLY ANNOYING voices, but that's kids for you I guess.

what was most annoying was that it was done every 2 minuets, 5 songs 2 tunes

also seeing 14 year old chavs singing to stewards "get a proper job" is a little weird too

It was nice to see some of the youngsters get a run out last night in A1.

Who could forget the lad trying to get the rendition of "Small town in Lincoln" started.

Or indeed the question "Who's the bloke in the long coat standing with Pearson?"

And there's always "Fooking hell, our goalie's captain, ha ha, our goalie's captain"

And finally, when he was being stretchered off - "Gradel Gradel give us a wave"

That was my point. I'm all for getting behind the team but it made me cringe listening to the kids at the back yesterday, All trying to act the big man. What ever happened to songs with a bit of imagination? Right side/Left side was sang non stop all game.

The lads I saw walking through the car park near the counting house singing with there arms in the air would have shat themselves if 3 or 4 Lincoln lads came towards them and got aggressive.

right side/left side, ring of fire, and shoes off should be limited to once a game or banning orders should be handed out!!!

Agreed with everything, but a 20 minute rendition of Ring of Fire is awesome. Bit tedious when its stop and start, because our fans can't clap in time though.

Anyone who isn't old enough to have seen Iwan Roberts play for City or doesn't remember Ian Ormondroyd shouldn't be allowed to post on here.

Or at least they should have their own section of the forum.

See ya all

People are whinging that young lads turned up and sang and supported leicester???

this threas is a joke, lets face it, young lads arent normally sensible anyway, so why would that change at a game?

give them a bloody break, so they dont know many songs, so they are acting the big one, so what?

You want to go watch a game with no atmosphere and no kids wanting to get involved, piss off to manure

>_< Am I the only one who finds this extremely embarrassing?

Baby squad? It wasn't even the Embryo squad

lol:thumbup:

The real Squad would have moved directly behind the goal, not two blocks away from it.
