Jack Posted 26 September 2008 Posted 26 September 2008 Best - Layer Road.Worst - St. Marys/Molineux. I've just realised it says current grounds and Layer Road is no longer their ground, my bad.
dandannieldanok Posted 26 September 2008 Posted 26 September 2008 Kenilworth Road may be a shithole but at least it's got character, I certainly wouldn't have it as one of the worst as some of you have. Best - Hillsborough, City Ground, Oakwell (< Pretty lame ground, but excellent for away supporters) Worst - Molineux, Ricoh Arena, Vicarage Road

Joe. Posted 26 September 2008 Posted 26 September 2008 Ashton Gate is a shout. That was class running down the steps when we scored last season.
Bert Posted 26 September 2008 Posted 26 September 2008 That was class running down the steps when we scored last season. After getting my crutches back, and getting down from my seat, i seem to remember LD3 on the floor
Joe. Posted 26 September 2008 Posted 26 September 2008 After getting my crutches back, and getting down from my seat, i seem to remember LD3 on the floor Yeah it went something like that. I'm sure Tommeh was involved somewhere too.

I put it down as it was our first ever away together, but if it's only because of the glass windows at the side of the pitches, then fine.

Ultra Posted 26 September 2008 Posted 26 September 2008 As a Leicester fan the best grounds I've been to atmosphere wise - Top 10 6. City Ground - Bit of banter! What, with racist neanderthal lowlife in the A block? You've got to be joking, right? Anyone who puts that pox-ridden slum among their favourite grounds should be forced to watch Cov for the rest of the season.
Bert Posted 26 September 2008 Posted 26 September 2008 What, with racist neanderthal lowlife in the A block? You've got to be joking, right? Anyone who puts that pox-ridden slum among their favourite grounds should be forced to watch Cov for the rest of the season. What a fool, with a ridiculous post dear me. Favourite ground. Not people. Just because he doesn't share the same opinion as you doesn't mean it's wrong and he definitely should not be forced to watch Cov because you say so. People like you stop the forum being enjoyable. Idiot.
Ultra Posted 26 September 2008 Posted 26 September 2008 Top 10 1) Old Trafford 2) Stadium of Light 3) Anfield 4) Villa Park 5) City of Manchester Stadium 6) The Hawthorns 7) Loftus Road 8) St James' Park 9) Oakwell 10) Gresty Road Bottom 10 1) The New Den 2) Ricoh Arena 3) Hillsborough (deathtrap) 4) Britannia Stadium 5) Reebok Stadium 6) City Ground 7) Withdean Stadium 8) Bloomfield Road 9) Turf Moor 10) Madejski Stadium
Durnerz Posted 26 September 2008 Posted 26 September 2008 Best: 1. Old Trafford - Incredible ground, been updated in recent years yet still holds the traditional feel and holds the atmosphere in. 2. Anfield - Atmosphere is amazing, Kop is a sight to behold and the fans are friendly and humerous. 3. Stamford Bridge - Superb views and great facilities. 4. Meadow Lane - Tidy traditional ground with friendly fans. 5. Ninian Park - Terracing and banter with the welsh, love it. Worst: 1. Selhurst Park - No redeeming features whatsoever, an absolute dump in the middle of a dump. Obstructed views, wooden seats at the back and Dave Clark Five every few minutes, awful place. 2. Ricoh Arena - Unique,no? Plus they can't anywhere near fill the place. 3. Sincil Bank - One of the very few ground in the country with 4 stands of different size, shape and capacity, an absolute pit and horrible to get to. 4. Deepdale - Someones patio for a stand and no atmosphere combined with some of the worst cretinous stewards known to man, an enjoyable day out if ever there was one <_< 5. Loftus Road - You are sat in the 'sellotape' stand, which must have been named after what its being held together with, tired old ground, uncomfortable and with no atmosphere, plus it looks like a blue shoebox with grass in the middle.

Idiot. Touched a nerve, have we? Forest's ground is a nasty venue with some seriously unpleasant inhabitants. The fact that we won there on our last visit shouldn't blind people to that fact.
