Daggers Posted 26 September 2008 Posted 26 September 2008 Deary me. You racist neanderthal lowlife A block lover!
Maybes Posted 26 September 2008 Posted 26 September 2008 You racist neanderthal lowlife A block lover! Tell me about it. I should be locked in the Ricoh!
Daggers Posted 26 September 2008 Posted 26 September 2008 Tell me about it. I should be locked in the Ricoh! I think by 'Ricoh' he means his 'anal passage'. You may be best served not wishing for it, it could happen.
Bert Posted 26 September 2008 Posted 26 September 2008 Touched a nerve, have we? Forest's ground is a nasty venue with some seriously unpleasant inhabitants. The fact that we won there on our last visit shouldn't blind people to that fact. No. But shouldn't be blind to realise that if Maybes wants to have "The City Ground" as one of his favourites then he can do so, and you also shouldn't be blind to the fact that some of our fans aren't whiter than white. Also, he marked down the Ricoh as one of his worst, so what you sending him there for? They have racist fans too.
Tommeh Posted 27 September 2008 Posted 27 September 2008 Ashton Gate was superb last year it has to be said. For me: top 6 for Bert 1) Fulham (actaully in love with that away end) 2) Ashton Gate 3) Selhurst EAGLES! 4) City ground - lower and upper) 5) Stamford Bridge - not always like it was for us though, teams will only take the whole end in cups. 6) Bramall Lane ( that lower tier, shoes off etc.) Note: all these grounds had very high numbers and in some cases all of citys support standing Barnsley would be in but lets face it if we took less than 2.5k there it would be gash, its only cause we're a MASSIVE club that its decent, clubs like cov taking 700 there are lost in that stand. Worst: Ricoh - 5000 part time shirt wearing ****** Got to add Molineaux too, pathetic place to put the away fans, even when we won 2-1 there in Dec 06 it was terrible. Ohhhh....and plymouth, all that way for Naxi stewards, who even insitsted the back row sat!

purpleronnie Posted 27 September 2008 Posted 27 September 2008 Best. 1.Seattle or Pittsburgh Worst:- 1.Wembley
Floating Fox Posted 28 September 2008 Posted 28 September 2008 Best - 1) Craven Cottage - Awesome away end, even when only 1/3 full 2) Ashton Gate - Again, great away end. 3) Selhurt Park - Great away end. Acoustics are great 4) Hillsborough - LOTS of character, always liked the place, even if the stewards and away end are weak. 5) Kc Stadium - Was fairly impressed by the stadium, again poor in terms of away end etc. Was very drunk at that game to be fair. Their fans are good. Worst 1) Ricoh - Horrifc. Would hate it even if the scum weren't in there. 2) Wemberlee - Nothing really needs to be said here. 3) Emirates - Boring ground, just big. Same as Benfica. Named after an airline that has no links to the club. 4) Molineux - Woefull. Horrid People. Horrid Away end. Lack of atmosphere. Awfull name. 5) Colchester - New stadium. Already Predicting how horrible its going to be.
Sods Posted 28 September 2008 Posted 28 September 2008 1. Stamford Bridge - That was just awesome. 2. Craven Cottage - Both times weve been very good there, good stewards i would say as well. 3. City Ground - If your on the lower tier its always a good crack. 4. Oakwell - Always a good laugh 5. Upton Park- Awesome atmosphere Worst 1. St Marys - Worst stewards ever. 2. Loftus Road- Over pricing for a dump, shockingly shit. 3. Ricoh - Here there every freeking where empty seats. Should have kept Highfield 4. Madjeski - Hated it. Hate them. Hate their fans, hate. 5. Carrow Road - Never again. I dont think.
Nugent Posted 29 September 2008 Posted 29 September 2008 I know this has been done before but we've all been visiting some new places this season so it might be worth updating over the coming months...At the moment for me; Best 1. Selhurst Park 2. Ashton Gate 3. Craven Cottage 4. London Road 5. Hillsborough 6. The City Ground 7. Ninian Park 8. Brisbane Road 9. Bramall Lane 10. Meadow Lane Worst 1. Ricoh Arena 2. Kenilworth Road 3. Molineux 4. Britannia Stadium 5. Riverside Stadium 6. Withdean Stadium 7. Home Park 8. Loftus Road 9. The Valley 10. Sixfields Good list there, I would probably put Sixfields higher up the worst list as they can't even fill it and there's no atmosphere whatsoever.
Tilley Posted 29 September 2008 Posted 29 September 2008 Best - Ninian Park Worst - Molineux St. Marys Ricoh.
Maybes Posted 29 September 2008 Posted 29 September 2008 Ultra would be livid with a lot of chaps in here. The City Ground.....
James. Posted 29 September 2008 Posted 29 September 2008 What, with racist neanderthal lowlife in the A block? You've got to be joking, right? Anyone who puts that pox-ridden slum among their favourite grounds should be forced to watch Cov for the rest of the season. Touched a nerve, have we? Forest's ground is a nasty venue with some seriously unpleasant inhabitants. The fact that we won there on our last visit shouldn't blind people to that fact. What is wrong with you? Anyway. Best Craven Cottage (great memories) City Ground (never been sounds brilliant, ) Oakwell (one of the best turnouts and atmospheres I've witnessed with City) Selhurst Park (funny) Worst St Mary's (had a shit time, delayed kick off, got wet) Loftus Road (shit fans, shit area, just shit) Withdean (what the f**king hell is this?) That's off the top of my head going on recent memories.
Sods Posted 29 September 2008 Posted 29 September 2008 Ultra would be livid with a lot of chaps in here. The City Ground..... Think the City Ground is a good ground for me, never seen us lose. We always seem to be louder then their support.
Lovejoy Posted 29 September 2008 Posted 29 September 2008 Best: Hillsborough Dog-Kennel Road Craven Cottage Villa Park Loftus Road Selhurst Brisbane Road Worst: Hawthorns Ricoh Stamford Bridge The Valley
Uncle Albert Posted 29 September 2008 Posted 29 September 2008 Worst:Stamford Bridge What was wrong with Stamford Bridge? Class stadium. One of the best Premier League grounds I have been to.
Lovejoy Posted 29 September 2008 Posted 29 September 2008 What was wrong with Stamford Bridge? Class stadium. One of the best Premier League grounds I have been to. The Chelsea fans is what's wrong with it.
Uncle Albert Posted 29 September 2008 Posted 29 September 2008 The Chelsea fans is what's wrong with it. In their defence it was a Carling Cup tie against a Championship team. Were we in full voice against Stockport? They are decent in League games at the Bridge.
Lovejoy Posted 29 September 2008 Posted 29 September 2008 In their defence it was a Carling Cup tie against a Championship team. Were we in full voice against Stockport? They are decent in League games at the Bridge. True. Also I had flu when we played them, so I felt shite all evening which may have influenced my mood on the night as well.
lildave3 Posted 29 September 2008 Posted 29 September 2008 How could I forget St Marys! 3 dreadful performances there. I think I only go for the Itchen/Northam chant.
