C-man Posted 12 April 2005 Posted 12 April 2005 Stuart taylor. He is a quality shotstopper, and i would love to see him play for us next season. His only downpoint is his kicking, which can be sorted out.

Anish Posted 12 April 2005 Posted 12 April 2005 Preferably Stuart Taylor, although I genuinely think the drop from the top 2 of the Premiership to midtable Championship is too deep for Taylor to want to join us. Taylor should really be attracting the attention of a Premiership club.

Knighton Matt Posted 12 April 2005 Posted 12 April 2005 steve harper - quality keeper (sunday's mistake aside must be fed up of waiting for his chance at newcastle!) and MUCH more likely to come permanently than taylor (can't see us standing a chance of getting him i'm afraid!) although still prob unlikely.
Hazza Posted 12 April 2005 Posted 12 April 2005 Taylor, he's good enough for the premiership but hopefully he enjoyed his loan and took note of what Craig Levein is building and would want to be a part of it. I can see him leaving Arsenal this summer but i think that a side like Wigan would get him if they go up

Ian Walker is waiting for Leicester City to offer him a new contract after admitting he is happy to stay at The Walkers Stadium.The veteran goalkeeper's present deal expires at the end of the season and he is eager to remain with the Championship club. Walker joined The Foxes from Tottenham Hotspur in 2001 and has recently returned to the team after a lengthy spell out through injury. He has yet to hold discussions with Leicester boss Craig Levein regarding an extension and is worried that time is running out. The 33-year-old will accept a reduction in salary to sign fresh terms but is anxious for some direction from the club. "I'll stay here if they offer me a contract but they're leaving it a bit late," said Walker. "It would be nice if they offered something that I could say yes or no to. "I was worried about it because I've been out for so long with the injury. "But the club have got to come to us at some stage but it is getting nearer the end of the season.
