Munzie Posted 4 October 2008 Posted 4 October 2008 'O' to have a striker on fire....might have to set Fryatt alight!
Munzie Posted 4 October 2008 Posted 4 October 2008 I we are going to score, it sounds like it will come from midfield.
Thracian Posted 4 October 2008 Posted 4 October 2008 Because his set-pieces have been just as shite. He only took them briefly but have it your own way.
mitch11 Posted 4 October 2008 Posted 4 October 2008 02-03 was the season for set plays.Muzzy Izzet swinging them in Matt Heath etc attacking them. I seem to remember a game away at Walsall , we scored 4 goals and they were all from set-pieces. Ahh , good times...... I remember when we played Arsenal and Wenger said in his post match that we were the best team in Europe at set pieces!
Munzie Posted 4 October 2008 Posted 4 October 2008 Get in at half time, Pearson's team talk and playing with the wind behind us could prove useful.
Thracian Posted 4 October 2008 Posted 4 October 2008 City twice beat their high line to get one-on-one's first half and might have done so at other times but that will doubtless change with the wind behind them and the big task will be to get crosses in that might move around on the wind or to try and whack some shots in from distance.
Southern Fox Posted 4 October 2008 Posted 4 October 2008 Why is Stringer saying that Fryatt doesnt have any confidence?? If he doesnt have confidence now with the start he has had at the start of the season he is never going to have confidence???
mitch11 Posted 4 October 2008 Posted 4 October 2008 Brighton--------2-1--------Cheltenham Murray 1 ------------Murray 2 Murray 7 ------------Murray 45 and good at the leeds score come on city Another one!
lee7 Posted 4 October 2008 Posted 4 October 2008 we need to score some of the chances we are creating. How many chances does fryatt need to score.
Thracian Posted 4 October 2008 Posted 4 October 2008 With Scunny winning 2-0 we'll need a win to stay top.
demon_dog Posted 4 October 2008 Posted 4 October 2008 Why is Stringer saying that Fryatt doesnt have any confidence?? If he doesnt have confidence now with the start he has had at the start of the season he is never going to have confidence??? 'Cos Fryatts crap.

Trouble is, we seem to rely on the high ball to Howard. In these conditions we could do with playing the ball to feet. Our wingers need to step up their game.
SussexFox Posted 4 October 2008 Posted 4 October 2008 Why is Stringer saying that Fryatt doesnt have any confidence?? If he doesnt have confidence now with the start he has had at the start of the season he is never going to have confidence??? completely agree he's like a baby for gods sake
Thracian Posted 4 October 2008 Posted 4 October 2008 Adams to Fryatt and across the keeper into the net. Fryatt's not so crap now with his eight goals.
