Random Burglar Posted 14 April 2005 Posted 14 April 2005 Im getting quite worried, all we seem to be doing is slagging the team off. Why dont we get behind them and give them the support they deserve. Ok so if connolly isnt scoring, at least Levein recognises this and is looking to strengthen the strikers we have at the squad even if he isnt having much luck. Ok slag me off for saying this if u do feel we are getting behind the team but i just want to see if anyone agrees or disagrees with me!!
jase67 Posted 14 April 2005 Posted 14 April 2005 I think the problem has been we just dont win many matches. If we were winning more far fewer would moan. We showed against Wolves we can back the team, however the team needs to give the supporters something to shout about. If you only go to the home games there has been very few wins over the last 2 seasons hence much moaning. Go back to the season before and we were not playing the greatest football in the world but we were winning games and there was much less moaning.
Nationwider Posted 14 April 2005 Posted 14 April 2005 We don't use that slogan anymore... 92653[/snapback] Time for a new one. How about "LCFC - Keep the Change"? Sorry.
Random Burglar Posted 14 April 2005 Author Posted 14 April 2005 No we dont use it anymore, but maybe we should!!
Louise Posted 14 April 2005 Posted 14 April 2005 It was Micky Adams's slogan, not Leicester City's slogan. Now Micky has gone it needs to be dropped. It's a little patronising anyway, fans are the only ones who 'keep the faith' with a football club, managers, players etc come and go so we don't need to be told by one of them to 'stay faithful'. Plus it became a bit of a joke last year when we were throwing away 3-goal leads and players seemed to be constantly leaving. Now I find the phrase supremely irritating.
