davieG Posted 6 November 2008 Author Posted 6 November 2008 why do they always plan these for when we have home games? To avoid the Tigers home games
Jimmy Posted 6 November 2008 Posted 6 November 2008 To avoid the Tigers home games I would suspect that City fans use the upperton road bridge more then tigers fans
davieG Posted 6 November 2008 Author Posted 6 November 2008 I would suspect that City fans use the upperton road bridge more then tigers fans Why! Explain your logic behind that statement, other than our crowds being marginally bigger I see no reason to presume that.
Jimmy Posted 6 November 2008 Posted 6 November 2008 Why! Explain your logic behind that statement, other than our crowds being marginally bigger I see no reason to presume that. because I wouldn't think too many Tigers fans are living in areas that lead them through Upperton Road, more from the other end of Leicester
davieG Posted 6 November 2008 Author Posted 6 November 2008 because I wouldn't think too many Tigers fans are living in areas that lead them through Upperton Road, more from the other end of Leicester So in areas like Hinckley, Nuneaton, Narborough, Croft, Enderby, Broughton Astley, Cosby, Sapcote etc LCFC fans out number Tigers fans. You seem to be making a massive assumption. Ps My Tigers comment was just in jest, I'm sure they have other valid reasons like trying to get it finished ASAP, there may even be late finishing penalty clauses.

Take this situation seriously Davie
Free Falling Foxes Posted 7 November 2008 Posted 7 November 2008 Talking of Upperton Road bridge: Now it's all altered, what's happened to that memorial plaque to that Everton supporter who was killed there?
davieG Posted 7 November 2008 Author Posted 7 November 2008 Talking of Upperton Road bridge: Now it's all altered, what's happened to that memorial plaque to that Everton supporter who was killed there? I believe Bentley's roof have been keeping an eye on this and it's all in hand - you should ask on there.
