act smiley Posted 16 November 2008 Share Posted 16 November 2008 It was truly shocking when new, but they ironed most of the more glaring problems with it a while back. Still bloated, but just not entirely cack.
Legend_in_blue Posted 17 November 2008 Share Posted 17 November 2008 Steam completely ruined the experience that was Half Life 2 went it was first released. My gaming PC at the time wasn't hooked to the net, so it caused all sorts of problems. To cap it off, I never actually finished Half Life 2 because of the problems I had, and I blame it on Steam. Total waste of time. Thankfully, The Orange Box changed all that.
