Hes absolutely shocking,he has the worst finish on him i have ever seen, his headers go anywhere, hes just a fat Ormondroyd!

A complete donkey and waste of £1.5 million!

We could have had hundreds of better strikers for that sort of money!

Ricky Lambert wouldn't cost much more than £500k or even morison of Stevenage are better than the snail!

You never saw Tricky Trev then?

I don't think there can be too many complaints about Howard. He's played an integral part in our success this season and has helped bring out the best in players around him. If we do get promoted next season, then maybe it will be a stretch too far for him, but he does have a track record of scoring goals at Championship level.

Stop being such a bully.

And your another one. You can't put a sentence together with more than 5 words! If your going to make a contribution, don't just say 'rubbish' or 'twat' because it's POINTLESS.

Anyway, I think Howard is a big part of our squad and without him we wouldn't be top.

The problem with Howard is hes not really a footballer, just a target man.

Sure he wins headers but none of it comes to anything, how many goals has he created from headers this season? Not many.

How many of his headers are useless, headed into the wrong place despite no defenders around him, loads.

How many fooking headers has he scored since he joined, the reason Ollie signed him 'wingers to cross, big steve to head them in he said', hes scored 1 header as far as i can remember.

He has so many free headers from corners and never scores them.

He always puts himself in the wrong positions to attack the ball from crosses, so ends up just getting blocked by defenders before he gets to the ball, or a lame header straight up into the air.

Hes just a pointless player, IMO if we gave 2 small men a lot of games in a row like Howard has played 30+ this season i bet now, then we can get used to playing that system, eliminate hoof ball from our games and have 2 goalscorers up front.

All we have at the moment is Fryatt and unless Pearson stops playing Howard and plays Dickov/Dj/Chambers thats all we will ever have.

We will have so much more pace up front without Howard, Pearson hasn't even tried 2 small men up front yet, Howards played pretty much every single match in all comps and has only been subed off once or twice at the Walkers, giving 2 small men only 10 minutes to impress.

Or signs a new striker in the window.

hes got a very good scoring record, hes only 25 and he can run and head the ball, hes out of contract in july aswell!

His 22 goals for Stevenage in the 2007/8 season saw them miss out on a play-off place by only a few points, and it was widely believed that Moro would quit Boro and leave for a League side. These fears became stronger after Morison was placed on the Transfer List by Stevenage at his own request. However, no League 1 club was willing to meet Stevenage's valuation of Steve and he signed a new deal at the end of the Transfer Window. The deal, however, includes a clause that states that he can freely leave the club at the end of the 2008/9 season for a pre-arranged fee if Stevenage Borough failed to make it into the Football League.

Which is besides the point anyway. It's very easy to look up who's scored a lot of goals in lower leagues but to actually fit a player into your team in a way that means his strike partner is able to score 23 goals before Christmas and means the team is top of the league is something else entirely.

Now if only we had someone like that, eh? Thankfully the majority of fans are starting to realise it's all about how the team performs due to the sum of its parts, not a witch-hunt against one particular player who might not be scoring as many as people would like.

Howard's been superb for us this season and opposition fans, who are perhaps best placed to know, have been saying the same after practically every game.

The more and more you post, the more and more convinced I am that in fact you are a complete genius who just does this for a laugh in his spare time.

It's the "We're Getting Promoted" signature that seals the deal for me, in a clever combination with these scattergun "I know better than Nigel Pearson" posts that you keep on wheeling out.

Good stuff.

Howard has started 26 of 31 competitive games in ALL competitions this season and come on as a sub once so hes played some part in 27 of 31 games.

Wasn't he suspended for one game possibly injured for one, hes pretty much played every single match.

Dj has only started 3 games all season, Dickov just 2.

Some on here say we are shit with 2 men up front, we haven't even tried it yet.

And by try i mean a good 6+ league games in a row starting Fryatt and Dickov or Dj

Where was that, that sentence just doesn't make sense as you can't back it up.
