Uncle Albert Posted 11 January 2009 Posted 11 January 2009 Mind you Rafa still should have kept quiet. Why? About time a manager came out and gave some facts out like Rafa did, might give some other managers the courage to do the same.
davieG Posted 11 January 2009 Posted 11 January 2009 Why? About time a manager came out and gave some facts out like Rafa did, might give some other managers the courage to do the same. Best to do it at the end of the season after they've won the League, it's meat and drink to Fergie.
Ultra Posted 11 January 2009 Posted 11 January 2009 And this is a General Football and Sport sub-forum after all... But people are getting a little heated, as if they have some kind of close affinity to one or other of the two clubs. It's getting a little too close to glory-hunting - and your signature doesn't exactly reassure me..

I do have a little affinity to Liverpool if you must know so... Chin up rudeboy. How is it? Having a signature about a player who play's for Man Utd means I am glory hunting United. Righto.
Ultra Posted 11 January 2009 Posted 11 January 2009 He's been proved right though, twice today Rooney told the Ref to F off in a fit of pique and nothing. Only twice? Of course, he was the only player on the pitch berating the match officials. Ballack and Ashley Cole, among others, were their usual pleasant and genial selves...
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 11 January 2009 Posted 11 January 2009 I've been to see Burton Albion once before and keep an eye out for them. They're doing well this season. I just couldn't help but support one of the big boys.

They were the two times I lip read him, regardless of the others that should still be a yellow so he should have been off. How can the refs. expect lower league clubs to show respect when they let such blatant dissension pass without even a word of warning. Inconsistency and worse still hypocrisy of the highest order.

Number 6 Posted 12 January 2009 Posted 12 January 2009 From what I heard on the radio davieG is right, apparently Rooney kicked Bosingwa and then moaned about it (this was Alan Green though so I understand if this is bollocks). It wasn't as if no-one had been booked, cards were being dished out all over the place. I think what Rafa said needed saying, it's what everyone has been thinking for years, but by saying it he has damaged his title hopes severely. Why get Man U more fired up for a big game? It makes no sense. Ferguson talking about Liverpool is a clear sign your team are doing something right, so just carry on doing what you're doing! Same old story.
ozleicester Posted 13 January 2009 Posted 13 January 2009 And i'm the one just trying to increase my postcount? Go to bed little boy.Adios. Yes you are. I'm surprised you know how to read and write considering you have the mentality of a 3-year old.Au revoir. uncle albert/father ted....Time for family counselling
