turkish14 Posted 25 January 2009 Posted 25 January 2009 evening all me and my wife are trying to find our cat a loving home, we defo will not be dumping it on animal charities. our cat named trixy is female 10years of age in may.she is a quatre siamese and tortoishelle coloured. she has been nuetered, can be very loving but does have a bit of attitude. the previous owners and ourselves have raised her as a house cat so potential new owners preferbally will live in a flat/appartment. she really needs a loving home with no other pets so she can be given loads of attention. any intrested parties please p.m me and ill answer any questions etc, please note were not selling, just rehoming. cheers

Does she go out at all? I'd love a cat but have a shared garden with neighbours who have dogs so a house cat would be my only option really. Sorry, I should PM you really. Any pics? (PM them to me, if you do... Please!!) Can I ask.. why are you looking to rehome her? What are the chances of her trashing my leather sofas when I'm not here? And would she be ok on her own during the day?

Can I ask.. why are you looking to rehome her? What are the chances of her trashing my leather sofas when I'm not here? And would she be ok on her own during the day? no she never goes out (probably suffering from agrophobia ) we live on the 1st floor of an appartment complex and even when we have the french doors open she sit there taking in the air, but were feel fairly certain she wouldnt want to go out,she wouldnt be very streetwise and despite her (sometimes) attitude would leg it from any other cat! there are many reasons for rehoming her (which many wont agree with) but as already mentioned i live in an appartment (small 2 bedroom)with a 1 month old baby and 2 yorkshire terrier dogs (whome that cat sometimes gets on with) shes got so little space where she can freely roam, without the dogs ganging up on her, also because of the newborn child we cant dedicate sufficient time and attention for her which were obviously gutte about. she'd be absolutely fine during the day,in terms of scratching she has a scratch post and can only recall a couple of occassions years ago when she scrated the curtains if your still intrested i can email you some photos just need your email (pm me) hope ive answered your questions.
turkish14 Posted 25 January 2009 Author Posted 25 January 2009 Would she taste good in the chow mein? dont think theres enough meat on her
turkish14 Posted 25 January 2009 Author Posted 25 January 2009 hi all just to give a bit more information.... she has no health problems, last went to the vets in november where she had some dental work done. she's very independant and knows what she wants, will need time to settle into a new home. i dont know how to send photos via p.m, so feel free to p.m your e-mail address and ill do it that way. many thanks
turkish14 Posted 25 January 2009 Author Posted 25 January 2009 Thanks to everyone for looking at this. We have 2 individuals who are intersted and are considering which of these two would be the best option for the cat. So we will not consider any further offers for the time being. Thanks PS chow mein option is not being considered!
Libertine Posted 25 January 2009 Posted 25 January 2009 Aww. I wish I could. My dog is practically a cat though. My Auntie had to have her cat put down today. Had a bleddy good run though, was nearly 20.
