Who's getting worried....I am.

Fair play to Sunderland, a draw would maybe have been fair today although I only listened on the radio so can't comment to great extent.

I'm worried that we could go down though. Plymouth and Coventry seem to be picking up draws week in week out and Brighton will be buzzing from that last minute equaliser and will have a seige mentality whilst us lot continue to think we will be safe...but will we?

I await your views.

Crewe haven't won since January 1st.

Brighton haven't won since February.

We have such an inferior goal difference than both. So that means both Crewe and Brighton have to win both of their games and us lose every game. Both teams have to play Ipswich.

Feel any better? ;)

As I said in the "Updated Table" thread we still ain't safe, although its VERY unlikely (IMO) we'll go down...Oh well if we go down at least we'll be watching us win and play better - Oh yeah people said that at the start of this season didn't they

I was never worried we'd go down... we may be poor but there are even poorer sides in this division than us..

Leicester - 0

Crewe - -17

Brighton - -26

Just pointing out both these teams who havent won for months have to win both their remaining games to overtake us, because of the goal difference, draws are no good.

Not true that Brighton and Crewe both need 6 points from their last 2 games to overtake us. We are only 3 points ahead of them both. Yes we have a much better goal difference so Crewe and Brighton need 4 points each from their last 2 games.

Tough but not as tough as both needing 6 points.

and Brighton play Rotherham next week. So there's 3 points.

If we get 3 points we will be mathematically safe - even if Brighton and Crewe win their last two games, and end up with the same points as us (53), our goal difference will be enough to see us safe.

If we get 1 or 2 points then we will be safe a long as Brighton or Crewe draw or lose at least one of their remaining 2 games.

If we do not get any more points then we will only be safe if Brighton or Crewe lose one of their remaining games.

Games to be Played:

Brighton

Sat 30th April - Rotherham (away)

Sun 8th May - Ipswich (home)

Crewe

Sat 30th April - Ipswich (away)

Sun 8th May - Coventry (home)

We can't get complacent about the current position - it's not inconceivable that either Brighton or Crewe could pick up 4 points from their remaining games. Hence, we need to get some points on the board so that we take our fate back into our own hands.

A win on Tuesday would be such a blessed relief, then we can say goodbye to this abortion of a season and relax for the summer.

I can see us getting 3 draws or 1 defeat, 1 win and a loss, To go down we would need to lose three on the trot, but if we lose on tuesday then I can see all confidence seeping from the side.

We have Derby(H)

Leeds (H)

Plymouth (A)

I personally can't see u getting anything against Derby. They have an excellent away record and let's be honest they are scoring goals from all areas and if they can against other teams I'm sure they can against us.

Leeds is where I expect us to get a point at least but I feel we will get nothing from Plymouth.

As others have said we can't get complacent in the position we're in. I think Crewe are more likely to go down than Brighton as Brighton know they are in a relegation fight whereas like us Crewe just keep falling and falling.

When I look at the squad we have it's disgraceful to even think about getting relegated from this division. Other than the top 6 every other team in here is poor as far as I'm concerned but we have internationals and experienced profesionals yet we can't rise above them.

I want to see a huge clear out in the summer and I'm just praying that we are in this division next season.
