dynamite foxes Posted 23 April 2005 Posted 23 April 2005 After seeing the Sunderland keepers magnificent save. I think he must have played quite well. He flicked some on, he turned his man a couple of time, maybe Craig was going to play him in away games to keep the fans off his back. But he was so unlucky with that shot! Come on MDV, you have proved what you are capable of in Scotland more of what you did today and you could really be something. Good goal Maybury too. Kenton at fault ofr both goals! Get Stearman in on tuesday, last time he started.................................................................................................................................................We Won, what a novelty that would be!
Bedford Fox Posted 23 April 2005 Posted 23 April 2005 Stearman should play as CL said how great he played Vs Millwall!
martyn Posted 23 April 2005 Posted 23 April 2005 He was 'ok' nothing more nothing less. And he should have scored.
dynamite foxes Posted 23 April 2005 Author Posted 23 April 2005 okay is an improvement from atrocious!
filbertway Posted 23 April 2005 Posted 23 April 2005 He pulled his groin today which tells me he still isn't and hasn't been 100% fit.
Anish Posted 23 April 2005 Posted 23 April 2005 He wasn't bad today - much better than usual. But then you can't really judge sombody on a 10 minute performance.
Louise Posted 23 April 2005 Posted 23 April 2005 Looks like we won't see him play at the Walkers again this season though.
Scow Posted 23 April 2005 Posted 23 April 2005 I suppose this will give Moore his chance to see what he can do. If we are going to play Moore and Connolly upfront, we'll need to keep the ball on the ground. We'll have no outlet who can effectively hold the ball up now, so Moore and/or Connolly will need to take a gamble and run in behind the defenders looking for a mistake. If we play it to their feet, it shouldn't be a problem. However, during a passage of play where we might be pushed back, Connolly and Moore don't have the required strength to hold the ball and bring others in to play.
