Daggers Posted 14 February 2009 Posted 14 February 2009 I didn't want to watch this, I thought it would be a luvviefest in a warzone - but kudos to Kemp, this is an excellent program. This really is an excellent program. So much respect for those working over there, regardless of the futility of the conflict.
Fox You Forest Posted 14 February 2009 Posted 14 February 2009 For an extra fiver a day I think I'd let someone else do the burning.
Uncle Monty Posted 15 February 2009 Posted 15 February 2009 For an extra fiver a day I think I'd let someone else do the burning. I'll burn your face......... hellllloooooo
Edmund Posted 15 February 2009 Posted 15 February 2009 On tonight Has anyone noticed the amount of army (mod) adverts during the breaks.
Fox You Forest Posted 15 February 2009 Posted 15 February 2009 Is he flying that spy plane with a 360 pad? Also that Afghan Soldier aka Jackie Chan just standing there in the open letting rip with his gun.
Benji Posted 15 February 2009 Posted 15 February 2009 Is he flying that spy plane with a 360 pad? yup, I think they talk about it on one of those dodgy 'sign up to the army' adverts
fox123 Posted 15 February 2009 Posted 15 February 2009 Awesome again, best thing on TV at the moment. Have to give full respect for what their doing out there. I doubt the conflict will ever end, the place is just too big and the enemy stubborn fuckers. Have to also give respect to Ross Kemp for getting so close to the action.
Gav_LCFC Posted 23 February 2009 Author Posted 23 February 2009 This weeks was crazy that lads arm got ****ed up! Hated the moment when they shouted MAN DOWN!!
charliefox Posted 23 February 2009 Posted 23 February 2009 Grrrrr. No Sky 1. The first series was brilliant. Gotta wait till April for the DVD of this series
Tilley Posted 24 February 2009 Posted 24 February 2009 Next weeks is the final one of the series. Looks like an episode dedicated to those who have lost their lives. I know Daggers mentioned it earlier on in this thread, but Kemp deserves credit for not turning this into 6 episodes of just warfare. He has told the story, spoke to the troops on how they are feel about the war, killing people & missing home. He has tried his best to show what it is really like over there & Ross, his camera team & Sky deserve full credit for that. Those troops are doing a very good job out there (I don't want to turn this into a political for/against Iraqi war debate) & I have enjoyed this programme alot.
Gav_LCFC Posted 26 February 2009 Author Posted 26 February 2009 The Boys are doing a brilliant job over there. It really shows what they are doing daily and they deserve more credit than they get.
Guest nathan. Posted 26 February 2009 Posted 26 February 2009 Grrrrr. No Sky 1.The first series was brilliant. Gotta wait till April for the DVD of this series Watch it on youtube if ya want Its all in parts

fox123 Posted 1 March 2009 Posted 1 March 2009 Last one tonight, best of the series - Quite emotional that one
Gav_LCFC Posted 1 March 2009 Author Posted 1 March 2009 Really emotional episode, alot of respect to the boys and girls out there. Brilliant series.
Edmund Posted 1 March 2009 Posted 1 March 2009 Got this on the box, will watch it later on. Last in series is it not?
Simi Posted 2 March 2009 Posted 2 March 2009 Emotional episode, bought a tear to my eye when that guy was talking about how thankful he was. Great episode and series, a real eye opener. A lot of respect to the people out there.
Samilktray Posted 2 March 2009 Posted 2 March 2009 Ross Kemp is quality for having the bollocks to go out there like he does. But the real heroes of this show are our soldiers out there, deserve more praise than theyll ever get.
Fox You Forest Posted 2 March 2009 Posted 2 March 2009 Quality episode, Emotional like people have said. They are doing an amazing job out there. Sadly it was summed up by the soldier that said his mother worked in a call center and earned more than he did.
