dandannieldanok Posted 15 February 2009 Posted 15 February 2009 I hope Milan have a decent crop of youth or else they'll be left without a team in a few years time, most of those that started will be pensioned off soon.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 15 February 2009 Posted 15 February 2009 Stankovic One of the most under rated players in Europe.
Alexikokopops Posted 16 February 2009 Posted 16 February 2009 4 if you include the Old Firm I watched them all. What a lovely day. I hope Milan have a decent crop of youth or else they'll be left without a team in a few years time, most of those that started will be pensioned off soon. If they all last as long as Maldini they'll be fine, haha. Stankovic One of the most under rated players in Europe. Agreed. He's bloody brilliant. Anyone else apart from Fez and I see the giant MERDE banner. Brilliant.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 16 February 2009 Posted 16 February 2009 Agreed. He's bloody brilliant.Anyone else apart from Fez and I see the giant MERDE banner. Brilliant. He'd make my best World XI for sure. Keeps everything ticking. Great vision. And yes.
Tommeh Posted 16 February 2009 Posted 16 February 2009 Is this because it was on BBC 3 not any of the Sky channels? No, no beef with Sky's coverage. It's always top draw although some of the camera angles shown were great. I just could not see a United - Liverpool or chels - Arsenal game ever getting close to that in terms of action.
Darkzzz_ Posted 16 February 2009 Posted 16 February 2009 Stankovic One of the most under rated players in Europe. Stankovic is a class player and yes he is very under rated and to think Inter were prepared to let him go last summer when Juve came in. It was only the Juve fans protesting because they didn't want him that stopped him going there. I have been in Barcelona this weekend and managed to catch this game in the pub yesterday, I expected it to be a good game and it was. The last two seasons have been a pleasure to watch and Serie A needs to get more coverage over here.(fingers crossed they sort it next season) La Liga is the best still in my opinion but Italian football is something I really enjoy.
Uncle Albert Posted 16 February 2009 Posted 16 February 2009 No, no beef with Sky's coverage. You clearly didnt watch Man Utd v Chelsea then.
Darkzzz_ Posted 16 February 2009 Posted 16 February 2009 I don't think they will get past Hiddinks Chelsea. I would love to see them go through but like you I can't see it.
purpleronnie Posted 16 February 2009 Posted 16 February 2009 Amauri is a player. Sure is, plus Alessandro Del Piero = legend!
Tommeh Posted 16 February 2009 Posted 16 February 2009 You clearly didnt watch Man Utd v Chelsea then. I know, fell asleep. Wasn't it a 3-0 trouncing? Although if you mean a game from 01/02, I may believe you.
GLC Posted 16 February 2009 Posted 16 February 2009 I love italian football Nothing on the PL but still class
Darkzzz_ Posted 16 February 2009 Posted 16 February 2009 I love italian footballNothing on the PL but still class It certainly doesn't match the PL in terms of money and popularity. But it has the key elements that are lacking here, home grown talent in abundance, world cup winners, the best European International football team and excellent managers. That is the reason I love Italian football and Spanish football for that matter. I am also getting into German football more as well. The fans are amazing. They have great passion just like the Italian fans.
