stez Posted 27 February 2009 Posted 27 February 2009 i'm falling back into like with them. it's wrong, i know, and they've been parading round the bbc all day long like some musical prostitutes, but i've just been listening to; the fly, discotheque, magnificent, get on your boots and various others from achtung baby and zooropa. i feel dirty, but i can't help myself.
BoneDog Posted 27 February 2009 Posted 27 February 2009 I used to love em in the 80's. I was about 9 or 10 and had that album with 'Sunday Bloody Sunday' and 'In The Name Of Love' on it. Now that was an album (The Unforgettable Fire). I also had Under A Blood Red Sky, and War. Then I started to go off them in the 90's

Hmmm I know what you mean, I hate U2 particularly Bono who is an absolute cockend BUT I find myself liking this song for some reason. I need my bumps feeling
Leicfox Posted 27 February 2009 Posted 27 February 2009 Can't stand anything since Achtung Baby. Whats the consensus on the new album? I don't think its that bad.
Daggers Posted 27 February 2009 Posted 27 February 2009 I need my bumps feeling [insert Smuts comment here]

Ricey Posted 27 February 2009 Posted 27 February 2009 I'm not a massive U2 fan but my girlfriend got wind that they were playing from the roof of Broadcasting House today near where she works. I got the tube to Regents Street and there were hundreds of people outside, it hadn't even been announced! Great atmosphere though, the anticipation was brilliant.
lefox Posted 28 February 2009 Posted 28 February 2009 I despise U2, had aninteresting conversation this evening with a big fan.. io like discotheque, which apparently was his low point with the band.. Thought they were a bit embarassing at the brits. New song sounds like the old style manics in the chorus..
Guest Posted 28 February 2009 Posted 28 February 2009 The new one is a combined rip off of at least three other songs and/or artists. I much prefer the originals.
