Sir Fynwy Posted 2 March 2009 Posted 2 March 2009 Probably Mandaric. Probably true as MM and Stowell are about the only survivors from Isaiahs last brief stint with us.

MPH Posted 2 March 2009 Posted 2 March 2009 It is indeed 5 so with Martin, Hobbs, Gilbert, Cleverly, Brown already available and being used regularly I can't see where he's going to fit in, I doubt he'd come for the last dozen games unless he was at least on the bench. didnt i read that hereford have 7 people in on loan at the moment?
davieG Posted 2 March 2009 Posted 2 March 2009 didnt i read that hereford have 7 people in on loan at the moment? That could well be the case but you can still only name 5 in your squad Since season 2005/06 Football League clubs have been subject to FIFA's registration and transfer rules which included the introduction of transfer windows between the end of the season and 31st August and during the month of January, i.e. 1st to 31st. The rules affected both permanent and loan transfers and in order to comply The League amended its own regulations governing this area. Previous restrictions on the length of loan periods were altered to allow players of all ages to be loaned from window to window for either a half or full season. Clubs are allowed to register a maximum of eight such signings, four under 23 and a further four over 23 in any season, with only two of the latter age group being allowed to come from the same club. Additionally, The League, with the approval of the FA, made provision for clubs to take players on short term emergency loans during the closed periods in exceptional circumstances – there is no limit on the number of emergency loans. As in previous seasons, no more than five loan players will be allowed to feature in a club's 16 man matchday squad. The transfer deadline of the fourth Thursday in March in each season still applies. The regulations are contained in The League's Handbook which is available to purchase from this office. Please advise if you would like to receive a publications pro-forma for the 2007/08 season. Thank you for contacting The Football League. Flynny Posted 2 March 2009 Posted 2 March 2009 Obviously someone at City rates the guy if it's true that we are back in for him. Could just be co-incidence? We need a more dynamic midfielder to replace Davies, which we haven't done really, and Osbourne fits the bill perfectly. If we have to send back Brown or Cleverly for him that doesn't really bother me. Kisnorbo's back any week now is he not?

Last report I saw on kis was he's back in training but miles away from playing again, I'd be surprised to see him on the pitch again in a city shirt but I may be wrong.

I doubt anyone'll want him in the Summer after a season out, no-one a deal better than us, anyway. I still think he can do a job for us next season. He used to be a (shit) midfielder, so Pearson should be able to teach him how to pass, and I don't think his defensive ability is in doubt. I didn't see him in his brief stint back - by all accounts he was less than impressive - but I reckon with a full pre-season under Pearson he could be a player transformed. Tunch/Kisnorbo dream team. I know that's a few ifs, but I think it's a bit soon to write him off. I'm not that big a fan of Morisson but I don't think even his biggest fans would claim that Kisnorbo in last season's form was worse than him, so there's a place for him if he wants it as long as Morisson is getting games, by my reckoning.

So do I but his contract is up in June and I don't think we'll renew.
RedHux Posted 2 March 2009 Posted 2 March 2009 Signed for Forest! Hooray! We're after Leroy Lita too. Could be our day.
