Knighton Matt Posted 27 April 2005 Posted 27 April 2005 http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...lla/4488809.stm Postma 'considers Utrecht move' Stefan Postma Stefan Postma career profile Aston Villa goalkeeper Stefan Postma may switch to Dutch side FC Utrecht, according to his agent. Postma, 28, would prefer to find an English club offering a first-team spot but there have been no firm offers. "He would prefer to stay in England but there aren't any concrete offers - only rumours and phone calls," said his agent Pietr Buter. "There is interest in England but it is slow. In Holland, that interest in Stefan is a lot more advanced." Buter revealed that Postma would find it hard to keep on knocking back offers from his native Netherlands. "We cannot keep saying 'no, no, no' to these clubs as we wait for something to happen in this England. "Certainly the proposal from Utrecht sounds very good and they are prepared to pay a small fee to Villa." anyone know much about him could he be worth a cheeky bid if he's a decent keeper i like the small bid part!
Hazza Posted 27 April 2005 Posted 27 April 2005 He's done quite well whenever i've seen him, wouldn't be my first choice but if we were to end up with him i wouldn't complain. Was it him who we had on trial a few years back? I'm sure a Dutch keeper came over during Martin O'Neill's reign one summer.
Knighton Matt Posted 27 April 2005 Author Posted 27 April 2005 Well I've heard he always knocks twice. B) 99692 very good...
Anish Posted 27 April 2005 Posted 27 April 2005 We could do a lot worse, I'm sure he'd come to us if given the chance too.
Ric Flair Posted 28 April 2005 Posted 28 April 2005 We could do alot worse. Also Paul Gerrard from the scum is up for grabs, he's always impressed me.
Craig Posted 28 April 2005 Posted 28 April 2005 yeah i think postma did have a trial here 99689 Yeah, he played in a match here at Kettering for us
Fox in a Box Posted 28 April 2005 Posted 28 April 2005 Taylor @ arse. (not mine) Postma Harper Bennett
SilverFox Posted 28 April 2005 Posted 28 April 2005 Not Harper...he's not been good lately! Whenever deputising for Given in the recent past he has made howlers!
Guest freund Posted 2 May 2005 Posted 2 May 2005 was he the one who let in 5 against tottenham today? no thanks
Anish Posted 2 May 2005 Posted 2 May 2005 was he the one who let in 5 against tottenham today? no thanks 101849 Yep that was him - not a great performance I must admit.
foxesfan69 Posted 2 May 2005 Posted 2 May 2005 He made some decent saves. Just because he let in 5 doesn't mean they were all his fault does it
Knighton Matt Posted 2 May 2005 Author Posted 2 May 2005 I'd rather an experienced keeper. 102025 he is 27 and got more international experience than walker!
Knighton Matt Posted 2 May 2005 Author Posted 2 May 2005 He made some decent saves. Just because he let in 5 doesn't mean they were all his fault does it 102080 exactly walker has conceded the most goals in premier league history. doesn't make him bad does it? well actually now i come to think of it....
