Fez of Mahrez Posted 28 March 2009 Posted 28 March 2009 I swear by the end of the season these are going to be complex algebraic equations with an eventual solution of "I've uploaded the highlights, click on my signature".

Guest Posted 28 March 2009 Posted 28 March 2009 I'm just not sure i can put myself through watching it again, even if it is the abridged version
Ultra Posted 28 March 2009 Posted 28 March 2009 Yeah, if you ignore the missed tackles and the players backing off. Second goal was quality though. The Sky footage didn't do it justice. When was the last time we put a move together like that? Was it even this year?
C-man Posted 29 March 2009 Posted 29 March 2009 Berner, Fryatt and Oakley all should of got challenges in for their first goal. Unacceptable defending, really. Mattock should have been closer to Whelpdale for the second.
MC Prussian Posted 29 March 2009 Posted 29 March 2009 First goal - entire defense gets tricked by Lee, nobody closes in, everybody's already at HT. Second goal - no debate, nice combo and glorious finish. All in all, shame on you, Leicester City FC. FERGUSON OUT!!!
Thracian Posted 29 March 2009 Posted 29 March 2009 Berner and Fryatt allowed free passage in the penalty area, Oakley slipped and there wasn't a real defender in sight even 10-15 yards from goal for the first. For the second Hobbs, Adams and Oakley all failed to get a challenge in on Mackail-Smith (and Gilbert before the film sequence started), concentrating instead on getting behind the ball when the position was advanced enough to be threatening. Two good goals from Peterborough's point of view but from ours, in both cases, there comes a time when someone has to challenge. It wasn't as if we were short of defenders in either situation. As I said, King was much missed for his often unappreciated ability to read situations.
dandannieldanok Posted 29 March 2009 Posted 29 March 2009 Simply very poor defending, especially on the first goal.
