Edmund Posted 7 April 2009 Posted 7 April 2009 People getting their knickers in a twist about fans wearing Tigers tops at the Walkers... err... what?!Maybe they just support Leicester. The city. Maybe they can't afford both tops but want to demonstrate their support of the region. What's the problem? I'd wear an England football shirt to an England rugby game. I might get some losers getting on their high horse but it'd be my way of expressing my support for the country... same applies to Tigers/Leicester. I guess I'm just surprised at how much it seems to mean to people, how angry they get by it... Odd. Spot on.
Finnegan Posted 7 April 2009 Posted 7 April 2009 same reason as I do on the streets to those in Forest shirts. There a rival club, I hate them. ...
Sparky Posted 7 April 2009 Posted 7 April 2009 ... The hatred dates back to the early 90 when City lost 26-3 at Welford road and that Walshie own drop goal in the last minute
Fosse Boy Posted 7 April 2009 Posted 7 April 2009 The hatred dates back to the early 90 when City lost 26-3 at Welford road and that Walshie own drop goal in the last minute
Tommeh Posted 8 April 2009 Posted 8 April 2009 In which case how can they sit/stand all game and moan about things they don't completely understand, chastise people they don't know the names of and leave early yet think this won't annoy people?Like I said, if a fan in a City shirt turned up and moaned about everything, shouting things like "who's the number 8?", "handball!", "the goalposts look different to the last time I watched football" and "haha look at the fat bloke trying to run!!" then left early, do you think they'd get no flack at all from Tiggers fans? Come off it. Tigers tops were out in absolute force at the ****** game. Man walking up the stairs on 88th minute with us 2-1 down, in a way it made Maxi's goal even sweeter. I hope never to share an away end with them again. 'Mon Bristol.
john_lcfc Posted 8 April 2009 Posted 8 April 2009 Comments like "only we sell out your ground" from their lot really get on my tits. We are currently the 45th ranked football team in the country. You are number 1= we are better
C-man Posted 8 April 2009 Posted 8 April 2009 same reason as I do on the streets to those in Forest shirts. There a rival club, I hate them. Fucking hell, you must hate Nottingham Rugby. Comments like "only we sell out your ground" from their lot really get on my tits. We are currently the 45th ranked football team in the country. You are number 1= we are better That doesn't even make sense. How are we better if they're ranked 1st and were ranked 45th?
