Stinkenzo Posted 9 April 2009 Posted 9 April 2009 Voted for Cox.Fryatt has been fooking shit for months. Cox wasn't exactly red hot in the first few months either.
maddog Posted 9 April 2009 Posted 9 April 2009 Surprise Surprise!! 18 goals in 21 games. NEW CONTRACT 6 goals in 20 games. That is shit from Fryatt, he knows it, we all know it. To go from 18 goals in 21 games to 6 in 20 is shocking. And hes just looked lazy and slow and crap on top of not scoring. Cox is a future Leicester player
Wezleylowski Posted 9 April 2009 Posted 9 April 2009 Why is Delph in there? Overated tosser, just cos he's english everyones firmly inplanted up his arse. If I was a certain welsh u21 whos played week in week out for a table topping side I'd be livid.
C-man Posted 9 April 2009 Posted 9 April 2009 i voted for fryatt and said im a leeds fan  I voted Fryatt and I'm a Cheltenham fan!

If I was a certain welsh u21 whos played week in week out for a table topping side I'd be livid. To be fair he is a good player and has a lot of talent. I suppose because he doesn't score goals like a striker he's not in the headlines as much. I agree that Andy King should have maybe had a shout. These awards do tend to go the most lethal goalscorers and assist providers. You hardly ever see centre backs being nominated or even winning the award.
lou Posted 9 April 2009 Posted 9 April 2009 Could not agree more, he looks absolute crap every time I watch him. I dont agree... hes a very good player but I dont think he should win it purely because of his appalling discipinary record. Have to say Fryatts a good role model on that respect.
Koke Posted 9 April 2009 Posted 9 April 2009 Voted for Cox.Fryatt has been fooking shit for months. Cox was hardly inspirational in the first half of the season, compared to Fryatt.
Wezleylowski Posted 9 April 2009 Posted 9 April 2009 Could not agree more, he looks absolute crap every time I watch him. I wouldn't go as far as to say he's crap. I think he is a good player and has alot of potential, but I dont like the way the media overhype young english players massively and also overprice them. The 6mill bid Newcastle allegedly made for Delph in January was a joke. Mattock is another example of this. Thats part of the reason this competition is a farce. No doubt if Tunchev would have survived the season, he wouldnt have got a look in at this award.
maddog Posted 9 April 2009 Posted 9 April 2009 Cox was hardly inspirational in the first half of the season, compared to Fryatt. Yer but i've switched my hate from Howard to Fryatt again now. I'm sure i will switch back again before the seasons out
Edmund Posted 9 April 2009 Posted 9 April 2009 Thats part of the reason this competition is a farce. No doubt if Tunchev would have survived the season, he wouldnt have got a look in at this award. I agree, a goalkeeper and defenders have just a big a part to play as the rest of the team which seems to go uncredited.
Ultra Posted 9 April 2009 Posted 9 April 2009 Fryatt's got a good chance of this (at least for League 1), as the Leeds vote will split between Delph and Beckford.
Bremner Posted 10 April 2009 Posted 10 April 2009 Could not agree more, he looks absolute crap every time I watch him. yer ok just remind me again how many of the current Leicester team ar subject to a 6mill bid?
