weluv Posted 19 April 2009 Posted 19 April 2009 just wanted to say sorry to some of you guys for being a tit earlier in the week. I was very disappointed with losing to you in the way we did, especially as i felt we'd played well. Also got annoyed with some people making personal barbs at leeds fans, but that's beside the point. I'm sorry. Also been reading WACCOE in a new light, and seen that there is a lot of stuff being said that shouldn't. So as some of you guys said, I am going to try and stop it happening. I don't want to be tarred with some of the absolute knobheads we have for fans. Just wish I'd realised this sooner. Good luck for the rest of the season guys, enjoy your promotion parties, and hopefully we'll be having a league fixture against you next year.
J.Lisemore Posted 19 April 2009 Posted 19 April 2009 Cheers but I don't know what you did Nah neither did i ...but i admire that your at least man enough to say your sorry. Fair play.
Ultra Posted 19 April 2009 Posted 19 April 2009 Cheers. All the best in the playoffs, especially against Millwall and Franchise.

Genuinely impressed by anyone who can make that kind of apology. Graciously done. If you carry on like this I might have to change my mind about Leeds in the playoffs!
Poakey Posted 19 April 2009 Posted 19 April 2009 Hate to admit this but i sort of have a soft spot after there fans performance last Monday.

Hate to admit this but i sort of have a soft spot after there fans performance last Monday. I wouldn't call it a soft spot exactly, but I know what you mean. Provided their fans stamp out the racism problem (which wasn't apparent on Monday thankfully), then I will have a lot of respect for them. Fans as passionate as that deserve to be watching their team in a higher league than this.
clazkel Posted 19 April 2009 Posted 19 April 2009 Hate to admit this but i sort of have a soft spot after there fans performance last Monday. Yeah i know where your coming from, their fans were 100% behind the team, and at one point i was getting annoyed with them as they wouldnt shut up, but fair play they were getting behind their team, and seemed to be genuine fans. I think Leeds will win the play-offs
weluv Posted 19 April 2009 Author Posted 19 April 2009 thanks for the nice words guys, TBH that was the best we've been this year, as to give you your dues, it was our biggest game of the regular season, or 'cup final' as they're known, though obviously our three biggest games will be our playoff matches. The 25 minute WALL has to be this years highlight, as the 15 minute WACCOE at Walsall was last year.
C-man Posted 19 April 2009 Posted 19 April 2009 I remember the year you got relegated from the CCC, you drew 1-1 with City at the Walkers. You sang WACCOE for almost the whole second half. Brilliant.
