League One Championship Trophy.

The league one cup we won, do we get to keep it in the cabinet for good. Or do we have our clubs name engraved on it, and hand it back to the FA to give to next years winners? A bit of a no brainer I know, but I would still like to know.

Cheers

Yeah, replica. Just make an exact copy, and whack it in the trophy cabinet. I know Brazil got to keep the World Cup because they won it three times, but don't think that happens with L1... and even if it did it'd mean we'd have to win that division 3 times... and I don't want City to messing around in League 1 again!

I thought they got to keep it because FIFA made a new trophy.

Yup, WHS. Wiki link here too - worth a read if anyones bored!

It is indeed, as now I've learned why Nike is named Nike - it's not just a weird name!

(Nike is the Greek Goddess of victory and is depicted on the Jules Rimet trophy. I assume the famous tick or 'swoosh' was added in as she was deemed an 'alright bird?')

Are they different designs or just identical copies?

Identical copies I beleive - and I'm assuming your talking about the CL?!

Right, we keep the trophy until next season when another team wins it, then apparently we get a replica, which is to scale, to keep.
