Fair point, but it's not like it's exclusive to phone-ins with Toon fans, i know quite a few in person who are of the same opinion.

They have a fair few who are deluded, but I'm sure the majority are level-headed and realistic.

Just like with every other club, but the media focus on Newcastle more.

Good god some of the small minded opinions on newcastle as a club and their fans on here are shocking.

I dont care what sort of history they have with us, there fans are passionate not diluded, and to be fair if we had a big fook off stadium like that I think we would be chirping on about how massive we are.

Absolutely delighted that they will (fingers crossed) stay up.

P.S Thought it was a cracking game, anyone else in ldn road varsity last night, decent atmosphere, pleanty of newcastle fans.

It's not even about this for me. It's the constant wanking over them by the media, they are almost on a par with Manchester United in the Jizz stakes. Overated.
