Gav_LCFC Posted 23 June 2009 Posted 23 June 2009 Got my Prom soon, anyone had any good/bad times at prom? Keep it clean
lavrentis Posted 23 June 2009 Posted 23 June 2009 Prom? Are we in America now I went to the prom last year. It's awfully good fun.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 23 June 2009 Posted 23 June 2009 It's awfully good funa good excuse to get wankered and piss off teachers you don't like.
Fosse Boy Posted 23 June 2009 Posted 23 June 2009 Prom? Are we in America now This. What was wrong with "School Dance" I'll never know. I walked to mine, couldn't be arsed to fork out £20 for a limo as I only lived 200 yards from my old school. What a tight git.
Simi Posted 23 June 2009 Posted 23 June 2009 This. What was wrong with "School Dance" I'll never know. School dance? What side do you bat for, mate? Got our Prom on 13th of July at the home of football. Going to get absolutely trolleyed and head for L1 and bang the drum.
Granno Posted 23 June 2009 Posted 23 June 2009 Remember being totally ripped off at the Hilton East Midlands Airport on my prom. NEVER give someone your debit card whilst drunk and tell them 'to buy a drink for everyone'.
Teece Posted 23 June 2009 Posted 23 June 2009 No such thing as a school prom when I was there, many many moons ago Bet it costs a bomb
Simi Posted 23 June 2009 Posted 23 June 2009 No such thing as a school prom when I was there, many many moons agoBet it costs a bomb £25 for the Walkers. That's before you've thought about having a drink, purchased a suit and sorted transport! To be honest, it's a shit meal and shit beer, but it's the last time you're going to see some people and some class teachers, so you have to make the most of it.
Fosse Boy Posted 23 June 2009 Posted 23 June 2009 Only had a "prom" after our GCSE year finished After Sixth Form finished, we had a posh meal. Ended up chundering next to my Politics teacher in the toilet after a particularly quick Boat Race, then he came clubbing with us.
Fox You Forest Posted 23 June 2009 Posted 23 June 2009 No such thing as a school prom when I was there, many many moons agoBet it costs a bomb We never had one either, I'd have gone round the pub instead anyway.

MarkDeVries Posted 23 June 2009 Posted 23 June 2009 Mine was at the Walker's a couple of weeks back. All my teachers got fooked it was so funny, my 'head of year' could hardly walk. It's a great laugh. Funniest thing was, me and my mates got their 20 minutes early and went up to the floor, Mandaric was getting into his car, so we ran down and got a picture with him
Tilley Posted 23 June 2009 Posted 23 June 2009 I went to our year 11's prom last Thursday at the Holiday Inn. It was interesting to say the least.

Unit Posted 23 June 2009 Posted 23 June 2009 I always refused to go to the proms, in year 9 i stayed home and got bladdered, I didn't make it to year 12 but did get an invite as i was in year 11, instead i opted for the pub. Much happier/cheaper times.
AoWW Posted 23 June 2009 Posted 23 June 2009 I went to our year 11's prom last Thursday at the Holiday Inn.It was interesting to say the least. I'm not gonna ask.
Samilktray Posted 23 June 2009 Posted 23 June 2009 I'm not gonna ask. Probably best after what Ive heard.
