Hi all!

My great uncle Jim McLaren was goal keeper for Leicester City between 1927 and 1933!

His Scottish relations here in Stirling and Stenhousemuir would like to wish Leicester City all the very best for today!

Hi all,

Been a Leicester fan all my life, coming from a long line of Leicester fans (my grandad played for them as a boy and also coached Gary Lineker at Aylestone Park before he got signed to city). First match as a season ticket holder was winning 2-0 at home to Watford in 2002 when I was 7, but went to see several games before that at the old filbert street, and had a season ticket until I went to uni in 2015. Still make the most of my little brothers season ticket when I’m back in Leicester, and watch every match online anyway. I’ve stalked these forums for ages, but procrastination from revision and excitement for today has finally seen me sign up. Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think this would happen, shame I can’t be back in Leicester for all the hype but I’ll be shouting along with everyone else later today. Up the foxes!

Hello from a very jealous Oxford United fan! Just to say Leicester City may very possibly have saved football :D. Absolutely chuffed for you all. Nice to see OUFC legend Matt Elliott popping up in the media too!

Good luck getting that point.... not that you will need it!

Hi guys!

My name is Danny and I write for a Romanian sports website called Lead.ro. We're a young project (barely into our 6th month) and I'm in charge of the football, with a particular focus on the Premier League. Needless to say, we're all enthralled by your story this season, to the point where our readers don't even care about the Champions League that much anymore.

Since it's looking like you're getting your happy ending (not trying to jinx it), I'm working on a feature piece that covers everything, from administration to champions. What I'd love to get from the members on here is some sense of what this feels like, as I don't want to go trawling for second hand reactions on the major news sites.

How are you processing all of this? What do you personally think has led to this incredible achievement? Did you have a lot of confidence in Ranieri when he was first appointed? In short, can you give me a sense of what this all means to you, something I can do justice to in my piece?

Cheers and, on a personal note, thank you for a season more epic than I thought I'd ever experience in my lifetime

Hi.

I am Gerry. Never been a fan of any club before I married Rosie, who is a Leicester girl and has supported the Foxes since the age of 10ish. So, for the last 20 years I have been a Leicester supporter and will remain so.

What a great day for "the boys" yesterday and well-deserved, too, after all their hard work. I am sure that their pride will not let them rest and they will continue to prove their worth up to the very last match!

Hi all. Just a brief note really, to say Congratulations from a lifelong Man U fan (well, I started supporting them when I was 6 back in 1976!). We aren't enjoying the best spell at present under van Gaal but seeing your celebrations last night reminded me of when we won the Prem back in 92/93 (funnily enough with another keeper called Schmeichel lol). You thoroughly deserve this title as you have been a breath of fresh air all season and Claudio has answered his critics, just as your team have. You never give up (which is what we once had under the great Sir Alex).

I won't be jumping ship but I will be supporting your trek into the Champs League next season and wish you all the best :-)

Look forward to seeing your pre-season games vs Celtic, PSG and Barca - wow!

Credit to both the club and the fans

All the Best, JD

I was on one of those buses to Madrid, ours had to stop near Lutterworth for some guy who'd drunk a bottle of vodka to be taken to hospital, it must have only been about 6am!! I had armed police escort me to the loo at the services in Spain and he watched me go (wouldn't let me close the cubicle door) we crawled from the French border into Madrid at about 20mph just so we couldn't wander round Madrid before kick off, and after the game they made us all stay in the stadium while the Atletico fans left, so they were all waiting for us with bricks when we went to get on the buses! Haha good memories... Oh and we all came back with swollen ankles from being sat still for the best part of 24 hours to find that the tickets for the home leg had all been sold while we were in Madrid :-(

Yep the fans on the buses really got shafted on that trip!

Everton supporter (since 1946), now exiled in the south, just want to congratulate Leicester City and to say they have restored my faith in football.  They won the league by playing good football, football as it should be played and stuffed it to the 'big money clubs'.  I would also like to mention my National Service army mate, John Hoden.  We served together in Singapore 1955/56.  John was a life-long Leicester supporter and season ticket holder and lived in the Leicester area all his life. Sadly, he died a few weeks ago aged 80 and missed this great moment in Leicester's history. All the best for next season and Europe.

Hi there

New to the forum and joined to congratulate LCFC on a simply outstanding achievement. I do not support any clubs in the premiership, being a Benfiquista my loyalties lie in Portugals liga, however the Leicester story has captivated the imagination and been a breath of fresh to world football.

I look forward to watching Leicester on the grand adventure next season, maybe we will see you in Lisboa in the champions league!

Good luck and continued success

Saudacoes Benfiquistas (regards)

Hello to all you Forum users and Foxes supporters. My name is Sanj, I'm in my 40s, living in France, and I've been a Leicester City supporter since the glory days of Martin O'Neil, Muzzy Izzet, Robbie Savage, Neil Lennon, et al (and not forgetting Emile!).

Just wanted to congratulate the squad, manager, and entire team of staff that have made the impossible possible. You've certainly put Leicester on the map, they've even heard about it in the little corner of France where I am! Maybe now I won't need to explain where Leicester is whenever anyone asks me where I was born....

Massive congrats!!
