AjcW Posted 29 July 2009 Posted 29 July 2009 http://news.sky.com/skynews/Home/Business/...To_Rival_Google Microsoft finally announce search engine link up with yahoo to rival google. Microsofts online arm has been quiet for a while but this news just reaffirms their stature in the online market. Their new search engine Bing has not taken off as they expected but this purchase may just change things. Will be interesting to see googles next move.

lookwhaticando Posted 29 July 2009 Posted 29 July 2009 Google already made their move with their operating system being announced. Google moves closer to Microsoft territory, now Microsoft is trying to go large in Google's. There'll be a Hollywood blockbuster about this in years to come. For sure.
Dr The Singh Posted 29 July 2009 Posted 29 July 2009 Google already made their move with their operating system being announced. Google moves closer to Microsoft territory, now Microsoft is trying to go large in Google's. There'll be a Hollywood blockbuster about this in years to come. For sure. It's a tactical move, Microsoft aren't expecting to take over googles crown anytime soon but to gain a market share.......the google brand is way to strong at the mo!! Long term achievements depend on what Microsoft and Google can develop to gain an edge...........this can only be good for the public, hopefully both will put loads of ££££££ into developing new and exciting things!!! Just a side point, Microsoft are thinking of buying Anne Summers, to aid and develop the rising past time of cyber sex!!!
