Fosse Boy Posted 11 August 2009 Posted 11 August 2009 Doesn't look like you in the picture but I'll believe you! How are ya mate? Going to the Macclesfield game? No, sadly work has put that one to bed. You enjoy the game though.

leftsideoverhere Posted 11 August 2009 Posted 11 August 2009 So having embarrassed myself like a twat on Saturday after the game by queuing in the ticket office for half an hour in order to be told that they weren't selling tickets for this game (what, me, actually read the programme I shelled out three quid for? nah!), I guess it'll be queuing up again tomorrow night in Macclesfield. Queuing up, paying cash and standing in a terrace. Ah, just like old times. Anyway, we're driving up, and can offer a lift if anyone needs one, provided they can meet us at Glenfield hospital about 5pm, which is where the missus will be picking me up from work.

Ha. Not as bad as a guy on here the other day who actaully asked why he couldn't get the commentary of the Valladolid game, before he was told we were playing on the Sunday not Saturday!
C-man Posted 11 August 2009 Posted 11 August 2009 WHEN ARE WE PLAYING MACCELSFIELD? TOMORROW NIGHT, 7.45PM.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 11 August 2009 Posted 11 August 2009 Just wondering does anyone remember us not being in round 2? Been through all the way to the Prem seasons under MON and Taylor and we came in during round 2 (I think) so when was the last time we lost in the first round?
LCFCMickey Posted 12 August 2009 Posted 12 August 2009 Hey guys, I'm new to forum - but this seems like a good place to start asking this question. Anyone in the West Midlands going to game tonight? I wouldn't mind meeting some others based in the area to go to games with.

Nope. I remember us losing in 2004 to Preston AET at home, but I have a feeling that was the 2nd round?
Asha Posted 12 August 2009 Posted 12 August 2009 Nope. I remember us losing in 2004 to Preston AET at home, but I have a feeling that was the 2nd round? It was, but we had a bye in the first round, so it was sort of OUR first round
martyn Posted 12 August 2009 Posted 12 August 2009 Didn't realise that Macc is only 1hr 40 from Euston. Sorely tempted to go now... Edit: That was until I saw the price, and availability of trains.
bjblyth Posted 12 August 2009 Posted 12 August 2009 Great game. Could have had more goals but I enjoyed myself! Besides having the free tickets, free food and great seats - I also won the half time raffle draw and won £203! Bonus!

Only done it the once - against Rotherham in 1979-80.
