Homophobia at football

If I were gay and I'd heard the Derby song, I couldn't have cared less.

You're in no position to say this. Yet. First you'll need a cucumber and a bit of vaseline.

What you're saying is equally applicable to racist chanting, Thracian, but the point is that it's takes on an altogether more sinister hue if there's genuine prejudice behind it. Whilst you might not agree that there ever is I think a lot of people would disagree.

Ah, full circle - hate peddling.

Time for another ban maybe?

"It's ok to hate" brigade strikes again.

I wonder if the above is even true or just a great opportunity to write "filthy queer" a lot.

The truth is that I hate you and everything you stand for.

The only minority group I would like to see exiled is yourself.

Why don't you fook-off from this forum and peddle your hate somewhere else.

There is no equality for gay people in football full stop.

The bottom line is that they are not able to behave in the same 'equal' way as heterosexual players due to it damaging their relationship with the players the club and the fans.

Why should people have to hide who they are.

If I went shopping with my gay lover and he kissed me in the supermarket that should be fine - You wouldn't blink an eyelid if it was a guy and a girl. Why expect the homosexual to behave differently - because you find it difficult? lol

The problem here is 'just not cricket' I find myself deeply attracted to you Obwank1overmee, your are obviously an intelligent man with a grasp of language, polarised and failed by society, so picked up the mantle of hate in order to express yourself in an individual manner.

I bet you would be a great lover of men, all that rage and anger built in sexual tension, kiss me you big stud.

What is it the gay footballers or fans want to do at football matches that they cannot do - but so-call ed straight fans can?

And has anyone demonstrated that they can't do it? Or is it that they can do it, might have to put up with a bit of mickey-taking and want the world changed because they are actually unwilling to stand and be counted.

Bloody hell, the way this forum's shaping up it could be that MOST of the fans secretly want to hold hands and enjoy a few playful caresses and they are simply constraining themselves for nothing.

What the fvck are you on about Thracian?

Read the post.

Where does it say anything about fans?

I talk about it being different for players.

Seems like you are picking a fight for the sake of it Thrac, you are entitled to your views although we don't see eye to eye - it's the Nazi wankers on the forum I have a problem with.

At least read the posts before having a go.

Anyway, if a player did come out and say he was gay it would damage his career - never mind standing up for himself blah blah blah

I thought you of all people would be bright enough to get the context of my post, especially having met me and had a pint with me and walked to a game together.

Cheap post, cheap shot

He took my hand and led me from the Rushes, his dark curls flailing on the brylcream scented wind.

I took one lustful look at him after drinking since 11am and decided to take him off "block."........

Was that the sort of imagery you were referring to?

It was a lot like that only much different.

lol
