markbsac Posted 16 August 2009 Author Posted 16 August 2009 I think it's you posting along the lines of "I'll go up in the car and take the risk" that she's questioning, although I could be wrong. maybe but i gave my reason for not going on fox travel due to the logistics of it.....but im sure that people have been by car and in doing so have felt quite safe ! im thankfull for all of the advice i have had on here ....and im looking forward to the game ..see you all there.
CosbehFox Posted 16 August 2009 Posted 16 August 2009 Wearing colours is more of a safer option than not wearing colours... Still doesn't stop idiots having a pop at you. Provided, you don't go around saying 'I am from Leicester' you are fine without colours. Surely if you wanted to be completely safe it would be an option. Being as Sheffield is to the North, you'd be going past the Walkers, or Leicester, rather, to get to Sheffield. It's not exactly "out of the way". You reading your map the wrong way around. He can get on the motorway two juncitions further up than what Fox Travel will get on the M1 on at.

Your more likely to get hit wearing normal clothing than club colours.

Very true, wearing colours shows hooligans that you are a fan, and not there for a fight. Generally wearing named clothing like Stone Island which is the most common, is one easy way of spotting any person who goes to football matches who may be game for trouble.
